IT's going to be a tough season, it's a purple and yellow target on the back of the jerseys! now!

I think the season would have been different if Garnett had not broke down?

Bouncing up this old thread because I can't find another one about the NBA.

DRose had his knee surgery (repairing a torn ACL) on Saturday and he is expected to be out anywhere from 8 to 12 months. Eight months would bring him back after Christmas and 12 months would mean he'd basically miss most of next season. He's getting paid a TON of money to keep the bench warm.
I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
Brrrr, I've been Frosted! Thank you, Asiel and Pomtzu!

And... he's going to be out the rest of the season again with his other knee. He had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. So, once again, he's getting a small fortune but unable to play.

The Bulls parted ways with Tom Thibodeau after 5 seasons. I'm kind of surprised- the team has had a LOT of injuries this year which has led to losses because key guys couldn't play, but that's not Thib's fault. We'll see who they choose as the next coach.

Never understood the reason to fire a coach when the players aren't there....

Next season the Warriors and Rockets games are going to be good.

That was a brutal series. There is going to be a revenge factor to any meetings next season.

    GO GS.......

My dad is rooting for Golden State in the NBA Finals, because Steve Kerr was such a terrific player for the Bulls. I'm kind of rooting for either team - because of the Chicago connection to Steve Kerr, but also because I think it would be fun to see Cleveland win with Lebron James playing for them. I like seeing the shots of Florida at night when they show the games, and I bet they will have shots of Cleveland that will be just as neat.
