    Willy gifts

Each morning we awaken to a present or two from Willy.
He leaves these items beside the bed or at the top of the stairs.
The items he chooses are so different and interesting, that we wonder if he’s trying to tell us something. Is he giving us the parts for building something?

    Items:
    Piece of chalk
    Pencil
    Magnifying glass in pouch
    Piece of sand paper
    Box of wood screws
    Picture hanging wire
    Package of AAA batteries
    Package of ear plugs
    Small knife
    Rubber band
    Vaseline lip ointment
    Small metal bracket
    Assorted business cards

*Note: MacGuyver was a U.S. television show where the main character saved the world each week with common household items. (He once stopped a nuclear waste leak with a bar of milk chocolate).

Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.

If "MacGyver" or "Mac" doesn't seem to suit him, on one show it was revealed that his first name was Angus. GREAT show - loved it!

My orangeman is named MacGyver because he is most resourceful. He survived two years with an abusive and neglectful family before my boss poofed him away and gave him to me seven years ago. It is a name he wears with pride. A fine name for a cat, indeed!

Very interesting. I voted that he wants his name changed to MacGuyver. I remember the show even though I really never watched much of it. I'm glad that he's an indoor only cat because if he wasn't just think of all of the presents that he'd be bringing to you. He might even steal them from your neighbors.

those white-feets are clever. Toby spends most of his mental energy trying to devise a way to get Havoc's food out of the cage I feed him in.

I think he is trying to build a battery powered can opener. The pencil and chalk are to draw blueprints on the back of the sandpaper, which will first sharpen the knife (to open the can). The brackets, screws, rubberband and wire are to attach the machine to a secret hiding place. He needs the magnifying glass to read the business cards to look for some "connections" where he can get supplies he can't find around the house. Lip balm is to lubricate it to keep it quieter, but the earplugs are so YOU don't hear him using it if it's still too noisy.

    Clever clever kitty!

Willy is such a clever and handsome kitty!
Izzy wants to know if he is available, she would love a boyfriend kitty who brings her little gifts all the time.

ATailOf2Kitties, I think you're on to something there, maybe Kuhio will post more photos of Willy showing us if it works.
    RIP sweet Samantha

I think that Willy is being a helpful and wonderous Cat Companion as one of these days, you will need one of those items badly.
The kind of items that they all know where they are until we need to lay our hands on them.
Willys just trying to keep them sorted for the day you need them, and he deserves TREATS for being a Practical Cat!!!
