Hi, Carole! Glad to hear all is well with you.
Coincidentally you came to mind earlier as I was viewing some lovely photos in a Windows desktop theme I downloaded, they are of Auckland's One Tree Hill taken by Ian Rushton.

    Hi, Carole from pennsylvania!

I've been a lurker lately, too. Outside of the fact that I broke my right wrist a couple of months ago, I"ve been hanging in there, too here at Concordia. I hope things have been good for your family. You will always be in my heart.

Hi Carole! It's good to hear all is well with you, Nikkita and Lexie. I haven't been very active on PT myself, but I do post occasionally. I'm catsitting a lot, have just had Oscar for 6 days and he will come again in October and November.

Aww DAVID that's no good to hear about your wrist ,I hope it healed well, lovely to hear from you all,it's been a very tough year for me ,not a good one ,apart from the best event ever the birth of my granddaughter ,she's nearly ten months old now and the light of my life ,a little treasure .i can't remember or not if I told everyone .

I've been having issues with lexie ,tummy ones so we have been to the vet and just yesterday made the transistion from urinary SO to hypoallergenic food, putting both cats on it as won't do any harm to nikki and easier and better for her as well, hardest part was I had to follow vets instructions for the change over which was 24 hrs fasting ,was the longest 24 hrs of my life ,I found it quite stressful and felt so mean, the girls were really good considering ,they are both on half normal portions for next three days,it is possible lexie has developed IBD,the great thing is all her blood tests were good ,kidneys, liver and thyroid ,not bad for a 13 yr old kitty,so fingers crossed the diet works ,I have presnidone on hand ,but hoping we don't have to use it.

Chrish, auckland is where my son and family and sister and family live ,it's a nice city but a bit too big and busy for my liking ,thanks for thinking of me ,I miss my pet talk friends ,but will try to stop by and catch up when I can.

Well folks that's my update for now, hope this leaves you all well and happy

I think my tetra went blind. It has always had a voracious appetite. I have had it for 5 years, but this morning I noticed that he or she did not appear to see the pellets. I swirled the water around a wee bit and the fish seemed to find the food. I'm sure we will adapt to the situation as we love the fish. I was just curious to know if anyone has had experience with a blind fish. Not sure I wanna take it to the vet p.s. The water is crystal clear and has thus far been a very healthy, albeit aggressive little dumpling! A any suggestions whatsoever would be helpful THANKS!

Hi Carole! So nice to "see" you here again.

I'm so sorry this has been a tough year for you, but that's wonderful news about your new granddaughter. Congratulations to her proud parents and grandparents, and welcome to this world, little girl!

Hopes and prayers and good wishes that Lexie does well with the diet. I'm glad her blood tests are so good.

And we're sending good wishes and prayers for her and Nikki and you and all your family members.

We're doing all right, thanks. Bob has been having arthritis difficulties, making him wobble more. Otherwise, he's good, and so are Sparkler and I.
