    Hello again, PT!

    Hi all,

    I figured I would post this here because I don`t recognize a lot of users here, and it`s been two years or so since I posted.. so I figured I would re-introduce myself.
    I`m Brittany, and I live on Long Island, New York. I`m an 18-year-old aspiring dentist, and I`m going to Dental Hygiene school in the fall. I work in my town`s public library (which actually is quite interesting contrary to what you may think ) and as a dental assistant at a dental office.
    I am owned by four cats: Sally (13), Malley (5), Oreo (5), and Bandit (1). (Malley and Bandit are featured in my sig.) And yes.. they all have nice teeth... I joined here when I was either 12 or 13 (can`t remember exactly) - but now that I have some free time and am *finally* out of high school, I`m looking forward to getting to know a lot of you more... and of course flaunting my furkids.

    My furfamily (from top left, clockwise): Malley (age 10- "the Eldest"); Oreo (age 10 - "the Subway Jared of Cats");
    Bandit (age 6 - "the Sweetie"); Missy (age 3 - "the Scaredy-Kat"); *Rocky (age 2 - "the Baby"); & *Sophia (age 4 - "the Princess").
    And of course I can`t forget my beta fish, *Regulus, who is almost two years old!
    { * = my fur(and fin)babies; the others belong to my parents/sister but are of course part of the family! }

    RIP Lady, Sally & Floppsy. You will always be remembered; Mommy misses you!

    Hey, welcome back! Going to Dental Hygiene school? How long does that take? Are you going to stop there, or continue on to be an actual dentist, or undecided yet?

    Good to hear from you - welcome "home!"

    Sadly, Miss Hoppy died, her thread is here.

    Since it's been so long since we met, I feel compelled to ask - are YOU taller than me now, too? (Two of my nieces and two nephew have passed me height-wise already ...)

    Well, I`m getting my Bachelor`s so it`ll be the four years. Right now I`m just taking it one step at a time, but yes I do hope to continue to dental school.

    I`m sorry to hear about Miss Hoppy.

    And I don`t know.. I`m 5'4" so I`m not TOO tall, but I`m taller than my mom so if that`s the case you`re not alone.

    Wow and hello! I don't think I ever got to know you while you were here before. Welcome back. I don't know why but for some reason, I thought you were in your 30s

    9/3/13
    I did the right thing by setting you free
    But the pain is very deep.
    If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

    I hear you whimper in your sleep
    I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
    It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

    Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
    Paws of love that follow me.
    In my heart you'll forever be.

    How I wish I could hold you near.
    Turn back time to make it so.
    Hug you close and never let go.

    Hey, I'm 5'6" so I'm still taller than you! Yup, making it taller than our moms is always an accomplishment, isn't it?

    Oh, and where will you be going to college? Somewhere down there? (Lots dental schools up this way, which is why I ask!)

    I`m going to SUNY Farmingdale. It`s a surprisingly competitive program, but well worth it in the end. And oh yes, when the time comes for dental school I will most likely be heading your way.. Tufts University is my first choice. Always wanted to live in Mass anyway, and NYU is much too expensive (not like the rest aren`t ).

    Welcome back!!! I remember you and congrats on graduating high school. Good luck in your dental hygienist program. I also work in the dental field but I work in a lab so the dentists send their work to us.
