I have a gerbil, and what I like to do sometimes is take a toilet paper roll, then get some treats and roll it up in toilet paper then stick it inside the toilet paper roll...it keeps them occupied...

I agree with YellowLabLover...those kind of animals are not meant to be in captivity..and you taking it in will eventually lead to its death because it is not getting the proper care.
