Our 4 1/2 month old Boxer/Lab mix puppy can't seem to hold his pee like he should be able to. I know hes still a bit young to have complete control, but sometimes he'll be walking across the floor...
Thanks for the ideas :) I looked all over for an ex-pen here and couldn't find one. Gotta love small towns..
I decided to set up the crate again and try getting him used to it really slowly again...
We are having difficulty training our now three month old boxer mix puppy Cosmo. I crate trained my chocolate Lab pup, and she trained quickly and easily to potty in the backyard. We introduced Cosmo...
After the third round of antibiotics, Jack peed in the sink again this morning to let me know hes still not feeling well. I'm going to make yet another Vet appointment :( I don't understand why he is...
Maya isn't on a monthly preventative for heartworm- I honestly wasn't aware there was one. My cats are indoors only and we live in a cold, damp place so we rarely even use Advantage, except on the...
We've had our 2 year old kitty Maya to the Vet several times for breathing difficulties over her short lifetime. The Vet had always told me they can't hear any rattle in her lungs, and antibiotics...
We seem to have gotten Cosmo's peeing under control...but we are in our second bout of diarrhea. Starting last night, his stool was loose (not completely watery) and more foul smelling than usual....
I switched Jack's litter to the silica crystals, and gave him a new box in a private enclosed area- he has been fine for 2 days now. I'm keeping a close eye on him to make sure, and at the first sign...
I'm thinking maybe she checked for crystals and infection and thats probably it. I live in a small toen, and if you don't ask for it specifically the Vet doesn't do anything extra. I'm making an...
Hi Donna! :D ( It's Mel!)
I've always used the same litter, although it IS a scented litter. I'll switch to the unscented to see if it helps. It doesn't bother any of the other cats- and I've...
My 3 year old neutered male kitty, Jack has been to the Vet three times in the last month and a half for urinary tract issues. I first noticed him going to the litter box frequently, then peeing on...

Thanks everyone! We adore our dogs, and hopefully it shows! I'm excited that we have nearly completed the back yard fence, so they can run and rough house all they want! I'm hoping to run the cement...
I used to post a while back when our chocolate Lab, Ruby was a puppy. Life sometimes gets in the way, and I realized it had been a while since I logged in here...a LONG while! We have recently become...
Cosmo's urinalysis came back fine, and his exam showed no problems with his kidneys, bladder or urinary tract. The Vet thought his drinking may just be a water obsession- so there's not much we can...
Hi everyone! Its been a while since I posted. I last posted when my chocolate lab was a puppy, she's almost 2 now :)
Anyways...we brought home a brother for her last weekend! He's an adorable...
Excellent tips everyone, thanks a bunch!! I will let you know what works for us :)
We do take her on small trips to her Nanny's (my boyfriends mom ;) ) and she LOVES it there, but she still gets sick in the car.
I will look into those products and see what I think.
Thanks! :D
