Oh, I'm green with envy - how fortunate you are! I wish MY Merlin would do something like that!
I am so sorry to read this; my heart goes out to you. I live in fear of the day when my crew gets old, knowing all that can go wrong. You are a good person, and your love and compassion WILL be...
So sad. Perhaps his elderly owner didn't realize what she was feeding him or how often. Poor guy; I hope someone will help him to lose the weight; he deserves to be a happy guy.
I have a couple of these, but my cats remain unimpressed. :( It seems the things they like best require batteries, and I hate having to always charge or change batteries. Good luck with yours!
I can empathize. Years ago, I took in a neutered male, obviously quite old. I don't remember how long he was with me, but he'd obviously been someone's pet - even the vacuum cleaner didn't bother...
What a nice talent you have! I can paint absolutely nothing ( although I used to watch Bob Ross), so I am really impressed by what you'e done!
Randi, I don't know you or Fister, but I am in tears reading your post. I am so, so sorry for your pain, which is know is great; Fister's departure has left a huge hole in your home and in your...
I had some experience with feline epilepsy many years ago. My Cassandra suddenly had one, and off to the vet we went. There was no known cause for it, so he put her on phenobarbitol. It was so...
Randi, I'm not a "regular" here at PT, so I don't know you or Fister's story, but I'm in tears from reading this thread. My Fister's Creator bless you with the wisdom, the courage, the strength,...
Thanks for the smiles!:)
Prayers coming for both you and Bartie. I can add nothing to what all the others have said except this: whatever happens, Bartie is yours forever and always; the love you give to him has ensured...
Bless you for taking pain upon yourself to spare your beloved Sourpatch. He is SO blessed to have YOU for his human! He's waiting at the Bridge, gloriously alive, perfectly healthy, and blissfully...
I'm with you. The cats don't seem to enjoy it - although when they were kittens, that was different. Just means a lot of trips up/down cellar steps for my arthritic knees - too much work for no...
Your pain must be very deep, for you've loved Kramer for so long. The deeper the love, the deeper the pain. But Kramer has no pain! Kramer is gloriously alive, perfectly healthy, and blissfully...
She's gorgeous! And obviously extremely intelligent, having chosen such a great family to adopt! :D
Oh, geez - I thought the whole purpose of having a tree was for the cats' enjoyment! Seriously, that's why I'm not putting one up this year: the cats have ignored it, so I can't see the...
Oh my gosh, that's wonderful! I can almost feel her relief.
I've been following the stories of two cats who've been lost - for more than a year. Sylvester (a girl) escaped from the car at a rest...
I believe a thyroid problem does not show up on a standard blood panel; it needs a separate test, called a T4. If that was not done, maybe it should be.
Oh my gosh - his facial markings are a different color but much like my Althea's! No wonder you fell in love. May you be blessed with many, many happy and healthy years together!
I have tears, thinking of Peanut, who should've been home, being loved by his furever family. Well, you're *still* his furever family, and he most certainly is being loved where he is, but still. . ....
