Awwwww, Poor, Little, Baby Boy Jonah....and his mama for her worry and constant concern for her little one.
Johanna, you'll both remain in my prayers. I'll pray that time goes by quickly for Jonah - and that healing goes even more so.
Hugs,
Kelly :)
Prayers for healing going out for all those in need, and saying prayers of gratitude for all whose needs are met.
I just want to say Thank-You for all the prayers for my SIL. She's doing well, her liver & kidney are functioning just like they are her own! She's been moved to a rehabilitation facility to build up her strength before returning home. She lived the past twenty years knowing this disease would destroy her liver, now she can live without that fear. We are giving thanks she's still with us! :)
Prayers on the way for anyone who needs them! Ive been lurking because of having to move out of our apartment and into a friends. We are moving to Oregon with the guy we are staying with as soon as his lease is up at the end of the month where we will be getting a place with Wenisrubber. Prayers requested that everything goes smoothly and that the cats will take the move in stride.
I haven't been posting much lately but lurking a lot. I could use a prayer or two for me.
In mid-October, I woke up with what felt like a heart attack. Turned out to be Pleurisy with Eflussion. Felt like a ballon filled with water lodged between my lung and chest wall. Every time I moved, the liquid would roll and hurt--a lot. So I went to Doctors care, and was referred to a Pulmonary Specialist.
No cure; it'll go away eventually!! said the doc. New Xrays and I'm referred to another specialist.
From all indications, I have a seriously painful case of Rheumatoid Arthritis. In one month it went from my shoulder, progressed to my feet and then to my hands. It has now invaded my knees and elbows. I'm swollen and tender in most of those places, but not every place every day. Mornings are the worst; I need help getting dressed some days and sometimes can't drive.
I couldn't get a Dr. appointment until Dec.3. Until then, I'm taking Naproxen to soften the pain.
RA has no "cure". I hope I can find a method of pain relief when I see the Dr.
So far I've spent $1500 on doctors and tests. (No insurance) Signed up for Medicare but there's a glitch and I only have Part A, so unless I end up in the hospital, it's all on me.
I know how well PT prayers work. Please say one for me.
lots of love and prayers on the way Mary!
Oh Mary, you sure do have prayers from me. I am so sorry to hear this..........you just don't deserve this pain and financial strain.
Thanks! I definitely appreciate your prayers.
(NO ONE deserves this kind of stuff.)
Mary, I'm so sorry to hear this, it must be frightening. :( I don't know anything about Rheumatoid Arthritis, but I really hope the doctors will find a cure for it. In the meanwhile, I hope you can find a painkiller that helps. Try to keep your chin up! :)
I'm sending lots of positive thoughts and big ((((hugs)))) Fister sends headbumpies.
mruff ruff...
I am praying for you to get better soon.
That must be so very tough dealing with all that pain.
I know what pain is...I deal with a lot too.
I really hope you get in tip top shape soon with all the prayers and all your positive thoughts to get better.Keep up the positive thoughts and try to laugh daily. It helps more than you could ever know.
Lauging is a great healer.
I hope you straightened out the Medicare sitution. That is really a pain in the butt to deal with.
I'm sure the Doc will give you something to help.Sometimes shots work.Different kinds work for different people, dependinmg the problem.
mary, you're in my prayers
Mary, I'm so sorry to hear this.:( I sure hope that you'll start feeling better soon.
Everyone else continues to remain in my thoughts and prayers. I also thought that I'd update you about my mom. Some you may remember that she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in July and the doctor thought that it may have been due to a virus.
She's doing much better now and will hopefully continue to improve so it must have been a virus that caused this. She's still taking it easy and taking medication but her health is so much better than it was in July. This is the best news that I've had all year and I just wanted to share it with you.:) Thanks again for the PT prayers.:)
first of all, thank you everyone for the PM asking us how and where we are.. sorry I've been slacking in to reply, our inbox is nearly full anyway and I'll have to clean it out soon. I've been physically so busy and emotionally dragged watching out for my home and safety of my furkids - I'd say just to continue and keep us in your prayers as we don't know much of details or the suspect has been found yet. out of contemplation, I've been working out to break the lease earlier and move out here as soon as I find temporary homes for all of my cage and tank animals - I can't stand this house anymore, the cops have came again pounding.
and I've just caught up with this, all of prayers you asked for are added to my list (not that I need to, I remember because I worry) and will be thinking of all. I'm so sorry for some that have not worked out. :(
((hugs)) to all and thanks again for the thoughts.
Prayers for all that need them....
Gina, that you find a safe place for you and your Ark(with electricity).
Cathy - that you get the courage. I don't know if a counsellor would do any good (even to help point out that this is not working) - if he wants another chance, it should be on that condition, or nothing changes.
I hope you have a plan - just who will be moving out, you or him? And some of the details with that.
HUGS everyone.
Thank you for the prayers. They must be working. That and the Prednisone.
Doctor gave me a shot and a schedule of prednisone yesterday. I feel much better today; swelling has gone down markedly. I even drove myself to work.
I have a greater tolerance for the people who drive carefully and walk "funny" in the store. I understand much better what the loss of independence can do to the mind. Maybe this is the lesson I was meant to learn.
Never take good health for granted. It can disappear in a moment.
I'll be sending prayers for everyone in pain. And prayers of thanks for my relief.
