Thank you, Karen. It had slipped my mind after my not having seen it in a while. Now I see it, of course, and I will add to it.

Today's Fabulous Dog, Cat and Pet of the Day are up!
It has been a busy day, baking, photographing some sculptures and crafts for the winter market, and I am just sitting down at the computer now. So I guess I will prep pets now and update the pages for tomorrow/date them for Saturday. Sigh. There are simply not enough hours in the day these days.
But today did include giving homemade chicken stew to our dear elder friends - enough so they were gonna bring some to our pastor and his wife as well, and have some for their freezer. It has celery root, lentils, herbs, a little barley, onion, garlic but the meat is from one of our own "broiler chickens" - the ones that did not get names or much human interaction, but lived a fabulously happy life until they got to their final size and started got harvested. (As otherwise they were literally gonna drop dead. They have been developed to mature quickly but be unsustainable.) The rest of the birds are in freezers now, and will be processed to help feed the community this winter.
