THANKS for fixing Rosita's picture!!! She really is gorgeous! Now to see about updating my earlier post on her..
ALSO...
Now I'm looking at Sugar the Pet, who lives in -
Tbilisi, Georgia
Does Georgia in the U.S. of A. have a city named Tbilisi?
Or is this Tbilisi located in that other Georgia, the former-U.S.S.R. or wherever now.. ?
I checked Google Maps for "Tbilisi, Georgia" , no country specified in search term:
The only one it finds is this:
Quick facts
Tbilisi is the capital of the country of Georgia. Its cobblestoned old town reflects a long, complicated history, with periods under Persian and Russian rule. Its diverse architecture encompasses Eastern Orthodox churches, ornate art nouveau buildings and Soviet Modernist structures. Looming over it all are Narikala, a reconstructed 4th-century fortress, and Kartlis Deda, an iconic statue of the “Mother of Georgia.”
From Sugar's photos, I somehow don't think he lives in the country of Georgia! (Though I've never actually seen any photos from that Georgia.)
Perhaps he lives in another US state, or in another town altogether?
He is from the country of Georgia - the country that was formerly part of the USSR. And I fixed Ollie's page - it was right on his archive page, but not on the homepage, sorry.
Great.. Thanks, Karen!
Oh, that's so cool, someone in the country of Georgia follows Pet Talk and even sent in his/her pony as a POTD nominee! And what an unusual-looking pony, so beautiful!
Today's Dog, Cat(s), and Pet(s) of the Day are up! Sorry so late, folks.
Today's Dog, Cat and Pet of the Day are up. Sorry for missing so many days, life has been busy. All the animals are well as are we humans, just Ruby - our car - is out of commission. One needs brakes when one lives on a mountain. Hopefully we will get the car back soon, but have had to rely on others for rides to and from work, etc.
Sorry folks, I will not be able to updates the sites today, but I will tomorrow.
Karen, for Snoopy the Pet's gender, it says the following:
Gender: Male, Female
Is he/she really some of both? ..a "metrosexual" or "non-binary" or whatever? ...How very modern he/she is!
Today's Dog of the Day is up, Cat and Pet of the Day are now, too! Sorry, folks, the Internet has been spotty, and life busy busy!
So sorry, so late, but today's Dog, Cat and Pet of the Day are up.
Why not have these ones be Monday's animals!
Thanks, Karen!
That's what I meant, have those same animals be the ones for today (Monday), so they each get a whole nice long day.
Today's Dog, Cat of the Day are up! Pet will be momentarily.
I have been reeling all day from some sad news, so please forgive the tardiness.
(The animals are all well, no worrie there.)
Today's Dog, Cat and Pet of the Day are uppity up!
Dagnabbit - the day got away from me, but I will update the pets later tonight and make them tomorrow's honorees as well/instead. Life is so what happens when one is making other plans sometimes.
Today's Dog of the Day is up, Cat of the Day is up, and Pet is now, too!
Also the chaos at the house is getting better, we are so busy getting ready for winter to set in. Tomorrow will be stretching the netting for the expanded aviary for the shagga birds (eared pheasants), it is much bigger, so we will need help. but I am recruiting!
Oh dear, Pet Talk folks. I am not dead, just terribly busy. I promise to update the sites tonight, been busy with Post Office and running errands, etc.
Today's Dog, Cat and Pet of the Day are up.
Because they are so late, such a long, sometimes frustrating day, I will change the date at midnight and make them tomorrow's honorees as well, and do their social media tomorrow.
Today's Dog and Cat of the Day are up! Pet will be much later, sorry, folks.
Cat picture is still Wynter from Monday. Text and later photo for a cat named Smokey.
Sorry, just fixed that.
Today's Dog, Cat and Pet of the Day are up at last. I fixed Smokey the Cat's archive page so it has his name in the heading as well.
Thanksgiving is always both a difficult day for me, missing Paul and his family members who have died in the time since his death - my mum-in-law and all her brothers - and busy here at the Post Office.
Yesterday was spent preparing for the first major storm of the season, getting building supplies and other tools etc. tucked safely inside or under cover, as today's wet snow up on the hill (I am only at 600ft above sea level here at the Post Office, and it is mostly rain here, but the farm is at 1,640ft.) will freeze into solid ice when the precipitation stops and bitter cold sets in.
Karen, the POTD M'n'M's page has his picture at the top, but below after the text there are still the pictures of Boo, the Syrian Hamster, from the previous day.
Today's Dog and Cat of the Day are up, Pet is now up as well!
I will not be able to update the sites today, but will tonight for tomorrow, so sorry.
Today's Dog, Cat and Pet of the Day are up at last.
Vast apologies, everyone, been dealing with a lot emotionally and work wise, but now got the sites updated.
Yesterday was busy from the time I got up, then away from home from 11:20 am until late at night, today has been crazy busy all day - as Mondays in December in the Post Office are won't to be. Sigh.
I am so sorry, everyone. I will update the sites tonight for tomorrow. There just are not enough hours in the day.
Today's Dog, Cat and Pet of the Day are now up! Sorry everyone for the missing days.
Today's Dog, Cat and Pet of the Day are up!
You know it's been a busy time when I realized this morning the Dog of the Day homepage had yesterday's date as Wednesday, December 87, 2021.
There are not extra days in the month this December, but it feels like it! I fixed that now, even though it is on Thursday the 9th - and not the 89th!
Today's Dog of the Day is up, Cat and Pet will be soon.
Today's Dog and Cat of the Day are up, as is Pet!
Because I did not get Friday's Pet, Dog and Cat up until late, and didn't post them on Social Media (Facebook and twitter) I will do that now, and just change the dates on the home pages. Then tonight I will update the sites for tomorrow.
I am so sorry I have been so inconsistent as of late - so much to do on the farm and the Post Office, the holidays and being reeling emotionally because of another loss (Paul's dear friend who was also a friend of mine, and much beloved) that there are not enough hours in the day.
