Hi Athena! Happy Dog of the Day to you, sweet baby girl!:) What a beautiful Pittie girl you are, Athena, inside and out, and so perfectly named for you truly are worthy of goddess status, not to mention being the most awesome ambassador for Pitties near and far! A gentle giant with a heart of gold, that's you, Athena! I only wish every single Pittie was as lucky as you, blessed with the most caring, the most devoted, the most responsible forever family ever! As your human says, it's not the breed, it's about responsible pet guardianship!!! I don't have to meet you in person to see how beautiful you are, to know how special you are, but I sure wish I were there to plant a zillion kisses on that sweet face!:D How lucky your family is, having a "first" as special as you, Athena, and I hope for you and your proud Mommy and Daddy many, many more years of shared love and devoted companionship! Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Have a fun day celebrating your well earned day of honor; enjoying a car ride, maybe a nice bath, being loved and pampered to pieces! Lots of love, hugs and kisses to you, beautiful Athena!:love::love: And early happy 2nd birthday wishes to you as well! P.S...Yay for Kongs!:p:D

I hope you're having a fun day celebrating!:D
It's so good to meet you pretty girl. I so agree with your family on nurture vs nature.
There are no dogs born bad. I loved seeing your pictures. That pic of you as a baby girl is sooo
sweet.:love:Congratulations on being chosen for honors as DOG OF THE DAY.:) Sending you
lots of cyber hugs & kisses sweet Athena.
I just love to see people who love and understand that pits are wonderful. I used to raise them and they are sweet and loving and great with kids and babies and anyone and everyone. They can be raised around cats, chickens, ducks, goats, other dogs, whatever. They will be whatever YOU want them to be with a bit of love and time! People who use them as fighting dogs should be horse whipped. The only reason these dogs have a bad reputation, is because of the ones out there who think it is soooo cooool to make them mean and impress their friends with what a 'bad dog' they have.
Thank you all so much for the lovely comments about our Baby girl!! :)
She really is our world, and we make sure she knows it!
