***A few new pictures of my pups***

Josie passed out when we got home. I guess she had a pretty good run. She doesn't run off leash much anymore...but sometimes I think I need to take a small risk. I went to my cottage. There is almost no one there this time of year, and even less who go to the beach. So it was the perfect spot.

Aren't you scared that they'll fall threw the ice?

It crossed my mind...but it has been so cold that I doubt it would be a problem. Plus there was foot prints and ski tracts on the snow/ice. A lot of people run snow mobiles across ice too.

I love the pictures of them full out running. It looks like so much fun. :) Josie does look cold in the pictures where she is standing still.

Josie actually doesn't mind the cold. She was running so she was probably warm. Zeke is more likely to get cold than her. (except the paws...she sometimes gets ice in her paws and they get cold)

How does a person/doggie cope with such cold? It's amazing! Josie and Zeke look like they had a really good time though. They're both so beautiful. Zeke has markings that remind me a little of Delilah. I love Josie in her cute bandana. Those two are so brave, navigating that ice. Wonderful pictures. It thrills me to see pictures like that since it's something I'll probably never get to see in person. Thanks for sharing!
p.s. I can imagine you all were huddled up next to a roaring fire with some hot chocolate after the photo session ;)

Haha. If you live where I do, you get use to it. It actually wasn't too too bad (compared to what it can be). I dress warmly, and the dogs don't seem to mind it when they're out running. Have you always lived in Florida? I can see why it looks extra cold! This week is around -15 to -20 degrees celcius...thats the coldest it's been pretty much all winter. We've had a very mild winter this year, and I'm not complaining! That might be why it felt so cold too.

I totally want to come up there and even looked up flights from Ohio to Canada (so I could fly up there after the memorial meeting) it was like $1500 just for the flight, with a billion stops, and it'd be like $300 just to drive to Ohio. Bleck. not possible at the moment.

Anywho, your poops are precious. Give Pea girl (and Zekey too) a kiss from me. I call Kiki Peekins the other day. :o

Yep. I've been in Florida almost all of my life with the exception of a few years. It is easy to see why I can't even imagine such conditions ;)
I love the cool weather down here but that looks way too cold for me up there :D Stay warm!!

Really? I don't see how it would cost that much...It only cost me 900 (cnd) to go from halifax (which is the only place you could fly in Delta) to boston, to florida then to utah...utah to boston to hali. It's odd it would cost so much from Ohio which is much closer than Florida. :( I went to a travel agent too though, she found better deals for me. Anyway, we wouldn't have snow in May. I hope you can make it up someday though. Zeke would really love to see you (and Ki?) again.
