I´m officially addicted

LOL i´ve spent the whole day, i mean the WHOLE day since i woke up at the comp, so probably i´ll stop as soon as i post this thread LOL

first came DENIAL:
"oh.. no, i´m not addicted to Pet Talk,no, i´m not always on! how could you say that??!!"

then ANGER:
"arrggg!!! the comp crashed and i needed to check on some threads and see some pics!!!arrgg!!"

followed by BARGAINING:
"ok if you dont get mad at me because i´m on PT at work i´ll just check in one time" "nah, i´ll just check when you´re not looking...ha ha"

later on DEPRESSION:
"oh my, i need so bad some PT pics to lighten my day........and i can´t log since i´m computer less..."

and finally ACCEPTANCE:
"ok, what?? i´m always on PT, i love it, and i´ll NEVER leave"

so that what happened to me LOL i accepted i loved it here a while ago but this thread just popped in my head right now, so anyone feels the same......
raise hands.......... ME ME ME LOL

I find it's really silly to think that you need something like a Pet site.

Lol! I'm not an addict ;) *cough* OK! I am. It's soo addictive! It's just filled with cuteness, and fuzzy things, and how can you NOT be addicted?! :D

It all started at work with the occasional glance at the Cat of the Day.
Then I started looking at Dog of the Day and Pet of the Day on a daily basis.
Then I found myself viewing the PT forum. Even though I was not registered, I would sneak in at lunch time and read the stories and AWWWWWW at the pictures.
Soon, I found myself logging in as soon as came to work in the morning. :o I kept it on all day long.
Temptation finally got the better of me and I registered in Dec, 2002.
I would log on as soon as I came to work every morning and keep it minimized so no one would see.
That worked for awhile....but I had no computer at home. On the weekends I found myself getting shakey. What was happening in Thursdays? How are everyone's kitties? Any political fights stirring up?? ;)
I couldn't stand it any longer. When my employer changed everyone's computers I bought my old one and took her home. I set her up with internet and the first time I logged on to PT at 7am in my jammies, I shed a few tears of joy.
So now, 2 years later, I have PT running constantly at work and when I get home. PT has brought me some wonderful and caring friends but something was missing.
I could email them but it would be nice to hear their voices.
I signed up for a long distance plan. :o
I now plan my holidays around PT gatherings. :o
I started a travel savings account. :o
When I can't sleep, it's PT to the rescue. :o
I learned about ICQ so I could chat to PT'ers. :)
I even consult PT'ers when it comes to major purchases. :o

....BUT I AM NOT ADDICTED!!!!
