Me again. Just wanted to say thank you again and to let you know that Kia and I enjoyed the beautiful weather on her Special Day without even knowing she was DOTD!

We went to the park and played with the children on the playground equipment. Kia just LOVES the slide and the kids were chanting "Kia! Kia!" before the day was through. :D

One little girl even gave Kia her popsicle.

Wow,, I came into work this morning and saw Kia as the DOG OF THE DAY yesterday!!!! Wow what great timing. I am so glad she was chosen, she is so special. Hope all is well with you and your folks.

I have a long (happy ending) horror story to tell everyone at pet talk about my little Sierra puppy but haven't gotten the chance. I will try to post today...

Kia, what a fantastic dog you are! I loved your great caring face and the intelligence it shows........lucky you were there to care for your Mom and make sure she was in good hands! I have told several folks about what you did, and it is a lesson we all should learn........pay attention to what your dog tries to tell you, it is probably something very very important!
