Fenway & I are sad today. Johnny Damon is headed for the NY Yankees. I will especially miss Johnny's long hair. Johnny will miss it too since Steinbrener has a strict code as to how his players look.
Goodbye Johnny. Have fun in the Bronx.

On a side note,
We have a little lost boy here....
Will the parents of Frank Mc Court please come to Dodger Stadium and pick him up??? He is trying to buy a World Series.
I used to just have a strong dislike for Mr. Steinbrenner. NOW I HATE THE BASTARD!!!!!
(Though I am amused he paid that much for a center fielder who is a GREAT leadoff hitter but has a piece of spaghetti for an arm)

Hmmmm,
Don't forget, I'll give you 62 million for a haircut and a shave???
DID I DREAM THIS, OR DID I SEE JD IN A YANKS UNI WITH SHORT HAIR AND A SHAVE...
I thought I saw something on the news while I was dropping off the other evening...He looks like J Damon with a haircut and a shave...
It wasn't a dream. He was interviewed last week with a Yankee's uniform on and a stupid and ugly haircut. He also had stupid looking sideburns.
He looked like a putz.
Do I sound bitter?
Johnny Damon = One word... Buckner! :o  :(

Well, speaking as a YANKEE FAN..
PLEASE, ON BENDED KNEE, TAKE HIM BACK!!!
Yankee fans will take up a collection to pay you to take him back, trust me!:p
One question...are Boston fans EVER, EVER, EVER happy? Whine, whine, whine!!!:D ;) :D
Yes, Boston fans were happy last year when we won the World series! :) It's just that we havn't really gotten used to no loyalty in our players, as we've been oh-so-faithful for oh-so-long!
LOL! Sandra, I'm a Yankee fan too! I was too much of a wimp to join in on this conversation until I saw your post.
I've been a fan since 1977 and had a BIG CRUSH on Bucky Dent! ha!

Okay, Larry (luccino, owner of the sox) Ummmmmm, spring training is approaching, a center fielder would be nice........Hello, anyone home at Yawkey way?

Elizabethann--Richard is referring (I assume) to the Yankees blowing a 2 game lead in the World Series vs. the Dodgers. The Dodgers one 4 straight to win the series.Quote:
