Daphne's fun winter day *7 pics*

It snowed last night! The first real snowfall of the season, and Daphne made the most of it. This morning we set up our christmas tree. We got the decorations out, and of course I tortured the poor girl with her antlers. ^_^

Then her friend came over to play! (neighbor's dog) Her name is Lily (or Lilly... I don't know how it's spelled :p), and she's a boxer/pit mix. Isn't she adorable?

We also went for a walk through the woods, but we didn't bring the camera, so I don't have pictures. It was a fun day.

Thanks! Sadly, no, I don't trust letting her off in the yard. Daphne was hit by a car a couple years ago. :( We got an invisible fence here, but she didn't mind going through it after a while, so now we use the tie out.

It's weird though, because when we go hiking or to the beach I can let her off with no problem. She stays near by, and if she gets too far ahead I don't even have to call her back, she doubles back to us on her own. But it's not by a road.

Aw, just look at that cute, sleepy reindeer. How sweet. I'm glad you had such a fun day. I hope to see more pics of you as these just weren't enough!

Daphne has always been one of my favorites. She reminds me so much of my boy. Simba wants me to send some kisses her way. :D

we got just a little snow last night. it was all melted by the time everyone got to go play. :( we are suppose to get 4-7 in. on thursday though! :D
