I don't know if I believe that story, but either way its an interesting looking dog.
Now with that info being known, hopefully that dog wont be snatched up by some irresponsible person just interested in the rare breed.
Well, that would be stupid. If they can't find another one of those kind of dogs it would just be a mixed breed. It may not be true. But it looks like a Tasmianian Tiger.
umm I think they were kidding.... She's adorable though!
Well, I think she looks like the Tasmianian Tiger. But maybe they are kidding. She's really cute though.
I REALLY don't think marsupials and mammals can breed...and produce offspring. That's so not true and she doesn't look like it, she looks like a brindle mix, although very cute. SHe is brindle colored not striped. You can't interspecies breed, sorry=)
Yeah I didn't think so.Quote:

Trust me if there was even a shred of truth to that the "dog" wouldn't be on PetFinders, it would be in a lab being studied to find out how marsupials and mammals mated to produce offspring and why it wasn't in Tasmania, and try to figure out how an African Wild Dog managed to find the only living tasmanian wolf across continents to breed with. It's a crock and either someone found it funny as a joke or they aren't too bright and thought it to be true. Either way it's false.
they gotta be joking
that dog is just another mix breed...
What will they come up with next . Cute pup though.
I think they did that just to make her profile stand out a bit among the thousands of other dogs on petfinder. I hope she gets adopted soon!
if she was a actual tasmanian wolf they would have givin her to some kind of sanctuary or something not kept her in the shelter where she might be put down  unless they are no kill.
Oh yeah, I didn't realize that they were marsupials. That's true. Well, she does have an odd lookinjg tail. But it could just be another dog. But if someone is thinking that she is part Tasmianian Tiger they might steal her to breed her.:(
It says at the top of her profile she is a Australian Shepherd,Black Labrador Retriever Mix. They were probably just trying to make her profile more interesting. It seems like it would take a while to put together a whole story like that.
I agree.Quote:

Cute dog. Tasmanian Tiger?? Hardly. She looks more like a brindle pitty mix. What a sweet face.
Yes I agree, I think they were just trying to make her profile stand out.Quote:

I don't think that story is very true, it just seems kind of fishy. But that dog is beautiful and he does look like a Tasmanian Tiger!
That picture is hilarious ;)

edit: Sorry I missed the post where someone else had commented on that.
If you read the her entire page it says that she has been fixed. So no one can breed her :DQuote:
