Finally! Pics of my pups

I finally got off my butt and hooked up my scanner (btw never get a flow-through scanner...always get a flatbed) and got some pics to show you guys. There's only a few, but I should be able to get more later today. It's amazing what you can get done at 5am.

Here's my fat man, Sam, at the beginning of the summer. He is shaved at that point, he was having skin issues. He's an Akita/GSD/??. And he's not the most photogenic dog.

My baby girl, Casey, a GSD. This is her at our old house. We had a lot of pine trees, lots of needles, and no grass. :)

Dodge, the rottie mix pup we picked up on Halloween last year. I gave him to a friend of mine, but I still love him to death.

Great looking dogs. I think Sam is a very good-looking guy, and Casey is beautiful. :) Boomer is the ham/clown of the family, isn't he? :)

And yes, Boomer is quite the clown. He's always crawling into someones lap unexpectedly (he dosen't jump...he puts his front paws up, and leans...waits a few minutes...and all of a sudden you have a 45lb dog on top of you). And he absolutely LOVES telling us that there is killer squirrels/cats/dogs/leaves/air in HIS yard and it must be driven out. And he sleeps with about an inch of his tongue sticking out in front. I swear he does that just to tempt me to pull it.

And he has the attention span of a goldfish. Once he catches on, he's got it forever...but getting to that point...he's 4 years old and he just finally learned "down" (we got him when he was two...). :rolleyes: Poor Sam gets picked on all the time to play, because Casey will tell him otherwise.

You have very beautiful dogs!! Thanks for sharing the pictures. :) Could Boomer have some siberian husky in him? His body shape and that tail looks just like one in this pic.

It's a possibility. :D He came with the tell all breed of "Collie Mix". He was a stray..and I see no collie in him. He's definately part border collie...he has the whole sideways trot and look the other way thing. And we think part Akita, due to his colors and his tail. But he could be part husky, we really don't know.

Thank you all. :) And the pups say thank you too. I have Casey with her head on my lap asking me to go play with her and her tire...what do you think I should do? ;)
