I picked them up today at Walmart for $8.88 a piece. Can't wait to start reading them! :)

A new addition? I read the "Dog" one a few years ago and cried my eyes out. Such wonderful stories.

Well, I thought they were new. Maybe they aren't?
I have never seen the Dog Lover's and the Cat Lover's before.
I have read the Pet Lover's and the Dog and Cat lover's together but these that I got today were 2 separate books.

I remember getting it on ebay, brand new. Make sure you have tissues with you. It'll make you want to scoop your pets up in your arms and smother them with kisses!!

I already have Chicken Soup for the Dog and Cat Lovers soul. had it a long time ago. wasnt cheap either. :eek:

I read Chicken Soup For the Dog & Cat Lovers Soul years ago and used up a whole box of tissues. I'll have to check these books out. Perhaps they are brand new ones. Can't wait. They have such beautiful, heartwarming stories.

Yup they are new editions of the dog and cat lover's. They came out a couple of weeks ago if I remember correctly, sometimes the release dates of books all blur together I see so many. But I do remember that they only came out within the last couple of months.

the have a web site for all the books and all so you can get a daliy email of some od the storys

Well, Crap! I was just at the library and Walmart and meant to look for these books and completely forgot! :rolleyes:

I have so many Chicken Soup books! I love them all.

I have both the Pet Lovers and the Cat & Dog Lovers..but I need the new cat and dog ones :D

They're always like $20 each here :( I'll have to see if I can find any for cheaper.

I love those books. I bought Chicken Soup for the horse lover's soul awhile back for the same price you did, Staci. :) I am half way through it.
