chasing feathers

i own a bunch of poultry that we keep in a barn. when we open the big sliding doors and its windy out, feathers fly all over. my kitten LOVES chasing all the feathers. it entertains her for hours. (lol)

Lightning loves feathers too. Sometimes if I see one when I am outside I will spoil him and let him play with it. He likes to chew on the bottom part of the feather, and bat it around the house. :rolleyes: LOL

yah she is a sweetie. tomorrow she is going to be moved as an indoor kitty.

She sure is cute! Lightning is an indoor cat, and although we found him in the woods, he was probably dropped off because he had no fleas or ticks. Why was she an outside cat until now?

;) Awee how too sweet & adorable.. I laugh at the feathers story due to just bought my girls new toys with feathers on the ends & last night they were having a field day with them.. What is realy cute is when they have one feather in the mouth & look at you funny {like what are you looking at & laughing about}..

lol. oreo was orignally going to be a barn cat. she has been until now, because she is able to get pregnant and has been hanging out with another cat. also she is so friendly that we would really like her as an indoor cat. and one time she got bit in the neck by a skunk.:( dont want that to happen again!

also, i think lightning is a very beautiful kitty. and your cats, too, lvpets2002.

I like your new siggy, and Lightning thanks you for the compliments. she sure has gotten big for six months, but then again, I know someone like that........:p

lol. you think she is big for six months? her mom was so tiny. I have only had one other cat, and the last time i had her i was 4 so i dont really remember how big most cats are when they are kittens. lol :P

She's just a whole lot bigger than she was. She's a good-sized cat.
Lightning, was HUGE and he just kept on growing!!!!!!! The vet warned us though, when we first took him in, she said "what are these ears, sattilite dishes?" She said that huge ears (and a huge head...and huge paws...) all ment he was going to get big. And he did!!!!!!!

lol thanks. she was born march 10th.

Lightning was born somewhere around April 17th. That's exactly 7 weeks before we found him (June 12th) so he may be around a week older or younger, we'll never know. Now Lightning is 1 year 5 mo. old and 13 pounds!!!!! Actually, it's exactly 1 yr. 5 mo. today, and 4 days till my b-day! :p

hey dab how did you get oreo at such a young age?? cuz you had a pic of her at 3 weeks, did you breed or find her or somehting

well a family friend said her friend from church had some kittens. we went to go see them and i took some pics. i had to wait a few weeks before i got her. so thats how i have a pic of her so young.

Did you see my thread about the kitties? They were born at somebody's hose and one of them died, but two lived. I was just wanting prayers that the other two were okay. :)

I'm not sure how they are. I will ask next time I see her. I took two pictures, but imagestation isn't working for me today. I will post them as soon as I can.
