Ugh....its soooooo hot today!! At 10:23 a.m. it was 106...now, at 11:01 a.m. its 108!!! Even my little WeatherBug screen has pictures of cacti in front of the sun...ick!!
I know its August...I know its supposed to be hot...but THIS HOT??

How warm (or cold) is it where you live today??
We're not quite as hot, but we're expecting the high to get to 100 later today. Right now we're sitting at about 92. :p
It actually has been quite nice the past few days. Mid to upper 70's and lower 80's and no humidity!! Wish it was like this all the time!
89 here now and I can't imagine it will get a whole lot hotter as it is 2:20pm. Kelly, you need a nice cool swimming pool to play in. :)
I have been in my office since 7:30 but I think its suppose to be upper 90's here today....I didn't think it was that hot anywhere in california this early.
Oh it's GORGEOUS here!! The best day this summer yet I think. It's low 80's with a warm sun, soft breeze, bright blue sky and puffy clouds.
But, alas, I'm stuck at work and only able to watch it out the window. :p
I feel for you, Kelly....hope it cools down soon for you! Meanwhile, stock up on ice pops, lemonade, iced tea, and icecubes! :)
That's the way it's been here most of the summer PLUS humid!!!

That's why I LOVE San Francisco. Sunny and 70's here - absolutely delicious weather.
It's a bit rainy here today, low 80s. The past few days have been so nice, high 70s to low 80s, and the humidity has certainly gone down. It was really HOT there for a few weeks!
Ok that it I am packing the girls & moving to where RedHedd & Jen lives... Oh I went to San Fran one summer & just love it there & when anyone ask where I lived I would the them Dallas metro area & they would state oh yes thats where its so hot people die && I was like ok:rolleyes: ..

Well, here in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska it is a balmy 35 degrees (2 degrees C). Brrrrrrr
In Anchorage, it's 57 degrees (14 degrees C).

Bleh, I know, the heat is horrible. It's not *as* hot here now, it's about 95* over here.
Still too hot for me, though. :p
It's about the same where in the Yukon, couple degrees cooler, about 12C. No sign of the sun. It's very cloudy and when the clouds move off, it's smokey!Quote:

Kelly, it sounds like you're experiencing some Arizona weather. It was always in the 100's when I was there but I was inside with air conditioning most of the time.:) Today it's in the mid-70's and beautiful. I love this kind of weather.:)
