What your fav breed of horse mines Quarter horses
Thoroughbreds! That's what my little pin says! I love seal browns and the dilutes. Perlino and light buckskin especially.
I <3 ARABIANS!!!!:D
I'm biased..I LOVE thoroughbreds! :D But Palominos are a VERRRY close second! :)
I love them all!
I don't know any breeds of horses though. I like the kind with the furry feet!
I like prehistoric looking horses like Przewalski's Wild horses and Norwegian Fjords.
Clydesdale? Shire? LOL, there are lots of Draft horses..the kinds with furry feet...also known as feathering...:)Quote:

I LOVE Icelandic horses! They are absolutely gorgeous, I think:rolleyes:
I like all horses in general, but the Icelandic wins!
Steph and Jes
I love them all, they are all awsome!
Haha, I really like Quarter Horses, though, thats what I have, and I love them, because they are so multi-talented they can barrel race, and do pleasure and everything they are awsome! I also love Arabians too, because I owned one to those too :p :o, they are so pretty and stuckup ;) I still love them, no matter how stubborn they can be. :D
I love them all! :) (hence my user name!)
Okay, Draft Horses, thank you. :) They are all beautiful.Quote:

Paula, what about a palomino thoroughbred?
http://www.hollywoodranch.com/Suncanter10.JPG
(I know, he's really dark.) Sort of well known stud.^^
I want this horse,http://www.dreamhorse.com/show_horse...orse_id=638297 I probably will end up with someone similar to start a breeding program later in life. Maybe breed a palomino and or buckskin together and hope for Perlino or Cremello, standing a regestered pseudo-albino stud can more than cover the cost of owning him.
I love them all..........but these two are MY fav:) http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...s/81394fc8.jpg

Gypsy Vanners. :) It's my dream to breed them when I'm older.. If only I was rich. Nelson is my favorite... http://www.rockranchonline.healdsbur...sp?horse_id=67 :)
Haflingers, 100%!! My pony is a Haflinger. She's 4, and about 14.2 hands. Absolutely beautiful; she's dappled gold in color, with a long flowing flaxen (white) mane and tail. Honestly, she looks kind of like a genetically mixed QH/Arab (though, of course, she's 110% pure ^_~) because she has a beautiful dished face, and an elegant arched neck, but is slightly stocky like all Haffies are...
My second favorite breed would either be QHs, Thoroughbreds, or Arabs, though I can't say that I've ever ridden an Arabian...
This is my Tennessee Walker Which is my favorite breed. I Also like Quarter Horses and Miniatures.
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...e/f2dbbc40.jpg :) :D
He's gorgeous! :D Do you have a picture of him in stance? We came very close to purchasing a black Tennessee Walking Horse! :D
My very favorite would have to be Friesans. I think they are absolutely STUNNING. I love black animals anyway...Unfortunately, they are VERY expensive, $20,000 and up and not very common. (Martha Stewart has a few. I read in a magazine that she doesn't let them out during the day as it will fade their coats so she only lets them out early morning and early evening.)
I also love Saddlebreds. I love their long long legs and l o n g necks...I grew up riding them though so I'm prejudiced.
Quarter horses are great too. They are like the golden retreivers of the horse world! ;) Most of them are very even-tempered and pleasant to be around. And they are very well-rounded. You see them in almost every different type of riding arena, hunt seat, western...I belong to AQHA and have seen them doing dressage too. Unfortunately for me, I am fairly tall and most quarter horses are around 15 hands although I have seen some larger ones. I was looking to buy one this summer named Cooley that was 15.3. Unfortunately the deal fell through but he was a doll! And perfectly square from the front and rectangle from the side!! He won every halter confirmation class he was ever in. I wil have to post a pic sometime as I still keep in contact with his owner. Anyway, I would look ridiculous on a small horse, with my legs hanging to the ground! LOL!!:)
Here's a picture of my pony and I...this was last year, our very first show together! And I do look about nine there...really, I am 15...

Haflingers are my second favorite... I've always dreamed of owning one. :D What's her name? You guys look great! I'll attach a pic of my welsh qh cross. Oh yeah, and welcome to Pet talk. ;)
Gypsy Vanners are amazing!
Haflingergal, your horse IS beautiful!!! I noticed that you are from Upstate NY....where are you from? I live in PA now but I'm from Syracuse,NY. My aunt owned stables and a riding academy in Baldwinsville, NY for 20+ years. Are you from anywhere around there?
I agree...those Gypsy Vanners are gorgeous! I have never heard of them...which is unusual because I read every horse book I can get my hands on and thought I knew it all!! ;)
How large are they? It's hard to tell from the pictures...
Gypsy Vanners are a bit smaller then Clyde's with the very unique pinto pattern! :D I agree they are stunning! :D How about my girl now? Shes a bay TB named Jewel! :)
Sorry, the pics aren't great, it was really foggy out that day! ;)
She doesn't look that magnificent either, her winter coat was just finishing up and shes not in tack....

She has a beautiful face! :) Her stripe is adorable, too. I bet she looks beautiful all shedded and brushed out. :)
Yeah, gypsy vanners aweful short, which is perfect for me. :-D I met the famous gypsy king at the equine affair and he was absolutely stunning, and short enough for me. ;) I also met a gypsy vanner foal.

Ooo oo! Horses!! YAY!
I really love all kinds of horses. Quarter Horses, Appaloosa, Buckskin, Arabian, paint, & thoroughbred are my favorites.:D
Just to let you know, Buckskin is a colour. :)
Oh wow, those pics of Jewel are REALLY pretty Paula! :D I absolutely LOVE that second one!!!!;)
I love all horses!
My favorite's are Paint, Arabian, Quarter Horse, Appaloosa, Tennessee Walker, and miniature horses.
Arabs, especially Egyptian and Polish, are my favorite. Quarters, Mustangs, and Mules are close to follow.
I love fresians, paints, and arabians. But my favorite out of those are probably arabians because they have lots of style!:)
I love & am crazy of all horses.. I cant say I have a breed..
Morgan, Shire, and of course the Welsh Mountain is my favorite little pony. Fav colours...
