Yeah, so would have Finn, if I'd let him have it. I just held it in my hand and wouldn't let him take it. He would have swallowed it if I hadn't held on to it. ;) As it was, it still only took less than a minute, even with me holding it.

We can see you devouring that froggy in record time Finn. Good thing Mom was holding it. We would give anything to plant some kisses on that sweet yellow head Finnster! Please tell Mom to give you alot of extra kisses tonight from us.:D
Love, Terry, Daisy and Delilah:)

I didn't let him eat it! :) That's why I was holding it, so, that he couldn't swallow it. He dismembered it, but, I didn't let him keep any of the frog in his mouth. That's why I posted the pics of the frog and it's separated parts! :)

Yeah, without any fanfare, I tossed him into the garbage, right beside the chair I'm in. Ha ha, I can still see him. ;)

that is too funny! I am surprised Finn hasn't dug out the little froggy to "finish him off";)

Lucky you weren't at my house a couple of weeks ago. Gull herded a frog right on inside the house. argh! I'm not afraid of'em or anything, but I surely don't want'em in my house either. I made him march that frog right on back outside pronto like. :)

Poor little frog... I'm not sure that she had a good time playing with Finn, but I'm sure he did... :)

Hehe awwww! How cute...I mean..uh....how terrible.
I had to save a few frogs at our farm. Major saw one, and kept trying to pounce on it. I got it away, but then he found another. He is just so fascinate with things that move, especially smaller things.
Funny story. Last summer Major caught a dragonfly and tried to play with it, tossing it in the air with his mouth. He found out it wasn't much for play, so he ate it.
This year there has been a lot of dragonflies around. One was on Major's tail and he turned his head and got it. I think it was in front of him, maybe slightly injured since it didn't move too much. Major looked at it, and then ate it. It was hilarious, because the look on his face made it look like he was just lying there the whole time. It was like the dragonfly was a piece of food he just ate, and he'd completely moved on after 1 second. Kind of hard to explain, but really funny!

Finn is very rarely off leash lately. We just live too close to a busy two lane highway, and, his "stop" and "recall" need work before I trust him that way. So, he doesn't usually have the chance to get to the frogs around here. But, when he does see one, oh, man. He'll lay down, like a cat ready to pounce. Then, as the frog hops, so does Finn. It's so funny. When it's windy, it's pointless to try and train him...no amount of praise or treats is ever as rewarding as all of the leaves and things blowing around. :) So, he and Major have that in common.
