Great news!
I just talked to Kelly and she is going home. The Dr. came by for a visit - said she is doing great so they are releasing her today.
She will be staying at her Mom's for about a week and then back to her own apartment after that!
Yet another important step in her full recovery!

YAY! I'm so glad that you're doing better Kelly! We can't wait to hear from you girl! :) That just proves how well you have been fighting, way to go Kelly!

Wow! This is great news! I'm glad that she's getting released early. That's a good sign of a quick recovery to come! :D I'm glad that she can relax and mend at her mom's. There's just something about mom that really helps one to feel better.

Hooray! I'm so relieved to hear things are progressing so well! Kelly deserves a happy, healhty and normal life! Nobody else has endured so much with such bravery while keeping an optomistic outlook!

I just recieved a txt from Kelly and she is at her mom's. She feels she will recover quicker there.

That's great to hear! How has her pain been lately? Hopefully almost nonexistant? I'm sure she'll be glad to be out of the hospital.
Just got off the phone with her and she was of all things eating
SUBWAY!
No veggies. Just bread and turkey!
She is glad to be at her mom's. She has to be careful about going up and down steps.
She seems happy. Just a teeeny bit tired.
Her pain is just surgery pain right now so far. No pain in the potty or anything.
Even the pain she had up high is gone.
She says HI to everyone. She won't have access to a computer yet b/c her parents do not have one at home.

I've been reading all of the updates but haven't had the time to post in them all. I sure am glad to hear this, however.
I'm so glad she gets to go "home"... I bet when she gets back to her place her kitties will be so excited!
Hopefully all of the surgery pain will go away soon and there will be no "other" pain in her future.

I too just got caught up on all the updates. So glad to read everything went well and she is on the road to recovery. Rest and mom's home cooking are the perfect remedy for speedy recovery. :)

Hey guys...I'm home with the furballs for a quick few moments. Its so wonderful to see my little ones. :)
I'm going back to mom's house to heal for a while. While my surgeon thinks stairs are OK, mom and I aren't so sure.
Thank you all for the prayers. GOOD news is I was released so quickly...that's almost unheard of for the type of surgery I've had. But I desperately need these weeks to get better again. The surgery/recovery is painful...and so uncomfortable. But I keep telling myself that each day will get better.
Thank you all so much for your cards, flowers and above all, thoughts and prayers. They mean more to me than I can say.
