We set a record today...

Most users ever online was 37 on 02-19-2002 at 02:47 PM

(I assume the time is different for you guys.)

I think the previous record was set on Jan. 15 and had 25 users(?) online.

I was sleeping while you guys broke the record ;)
I believe the previous record was 36 users online.... anyways, new recors is a new record! :D

I remember the previous record being from Feb 6th with 36 users (I think).

Anyway, I was wondering when we'd break that record. Good job guys!!!!!

I'll blame this one on it being past my bed time....do you mean 37 people online at one time?

Yup Kelly, 37 Currently Active Users is the new record now.
As we have a day here now (it's 13:30 when I'm typing this) it's still pretty quiet. Takes about an hour and then we'll see more action here. When it's night for us, you all are busy here... goes funny with the time zones...:)

Current Active Users...I'm assuming this is PT members + visitors??

Time zones are so weird. 5:41 P.M. won't even be here for another 2 hours and 41 minutes. It's strange to see a record was set at a time that's not even happened yet. :D :D

It was set at 11:47 am my time - and I wasn't even online, I know for sure, because I was doing different processes on three different computers, none of which involved browsing the 'net!

And I can honestly say that this "blabbermouth" was not even here to be on line at that time!!! LOL!!! :D

I get all confused w/ the time zone thing too but I do remember one time when I was the only one on. Then I remember (it was about 4 a.m.) when Founder Paul and I were the only ones on. One question, if I forget to logoff do I count as a "visitor":confused: does that mean not logged off but not active :confused: what's the diff :confused: I'm not very 'puter literate :o Laurie

No, if you are logged on, but not on the page, the system waits a moment, then drops you off the list of people "online."

No, it's not just you... in the mornings when I log on, I first read all the new stuff, then go and read news from my news site, and then come back to my Pet Talk, to reply, and everything at one go of course! :D
