Starr Is Finally Home!!!

Hi,
Last night AmberLee and I went to go pick up my baby kitten Starr. He's now home and is doing well.:) He's such a sweetheart and is constantly purring. My other furkids reacted pretty much the way I thought that they would. Storm hissed and growled, Sunny was scared and then tried to ignore Starr, and Sky was very friendly and thought he was a cute new toy.

He's still battling coccidia so I have to keep him separated from his big brothers. I have him in a large dog crate. Even though he was treated with advantage last night, I found 2 live fleas on him this morning.:eek: His foster mom doesn't like over medicate them so she only used 1-2 drops on him. He has a vet appointment tomorrow morning for an exam and a fecal test and I'll ask them more about the advantage situation too. He's still on Albon and I hope his coccidia or whatever else he may have will clear up soon.

That's all for now.:D He still has to be neutered in 2-3 months because he's a double crypt orchid which means that his testicles haven't descended yet. I guess he just wants to hang on to his bits for a while longer.;)

I was giggling when I saw the reaction of Storm and Sky ;) . Don't worry, they will welcome their new brother as soon as they are sure he knows who's the boss :p :)

I bought the little fleece bed but I made the little pillow to go in it. He loves it.:D

Thanks for all of your nice commnets. He's such a joy to have and just the happiest little boy I've ever seen.:)

I'll be taking him to the vet soon and I was hoping he'd give me some fresh poop this morning but of course he hasn't. I hope they'll be able to use what I already have in the fridge. I'll probably be updating his vet report in cat health so please look for it.:)

Yes, it was very VERY tempting to sneak out with handsome little Starr, but knowing that Lady Olivia d'Flufferuni would throw a fit with a new cat in the house helped curb my impulse. (Her goal is to be an only cat. At least when she thinks about it.)

I'm glad to hear that there will be no kitnapping going on. LOL:) All of my furkids have become much more interested in watching Starr. Storm is still hissing a little bit, Sky's ready to play chase with him, and Sunny's not as afraid of him and seems much more interested in him. I'm sure in time that they'll all learn to love him and accept him.:)

Tracey, it is always difficult to try to think of something new that hasn't already been said, for example, isn't he adorable or cuteness overload.

So, I will just tell you my instant reaction when I saw the new pictures of Starr.

I just sat here saying outloud, "oh, just look at that..........and look at that picture - isn't he feisty?"

There is no question that Starr has the very best new home...........enjoy him for years and years...........he sure is special.

I hope your other boys accept Starr quickly. He looks a real sweetie.
