Andy and I will be in Columbus, OH for my aunt's birthday party on July 2nd. If Kia can go, then we will be able to stop by at Findlay on the way home.

If Kia can't go, either we won't be able to make it, or other arrangements for Kia would have to be made. (Maybe someone could "dog-sit" her and bring her out to Findlay on Sunday? )

I'm calling my aunt and uncle today.

Looks like we were thinking along the same lines this morning Kimmy:D

I will probably post this on all the post about the Findlay area gatherings. Since the pavilion is already reserved, why doesn't anyone who wants to come, come ahead. I will be there if others are since we will be in town that weekend. It would be nice to know who is coming though. So please let me know.

At the moment we are a GO for July 3rd. I just got off the phone with my Uncle Kevin and he said Kia is more than welcome to come. For those that don't want to stay at motels overnight, they can camp in Uncle Kevin's backyard. :)

I haven't been on much because my computer at home is useless it's so slow.. plus I can't post pictures, something's wrong with my video card or something:mad: and all of my pictures turn fuzzy when I upload them :(

I will have to check into a few things before I say yes to the 3rd.
The Mr. & I are going to be at his Aunts house later in the day in Avon Lake, which is 1 hour and 15mins West of me... so I'd be heading in the right direction. But I have to talk to Rick's Aunt and see if it would be okay to bring Sierra to her house after I came to the park with you guys.
Buddy will NOT be traveling with us, my poor baby boy is so deathly terrified of fireworks that I have to keep him on tranquillizers around the 4th every year, and we will be watching fireworks that night in Avon Lake (Sierra has no problems with Fireworks).
So I'd also have to find someone to stop at my house to give Buddy another pill or two at least an hour before dusk.

I'd love to see all of you guys, it's been quite a long time since my first visit to the park.

The Pavilion IS already reserved for
SUNDAY, JULY 3rd - the "middle day" in the 3-day 4th of July weekend.

We decided to "try" the 4th of July weekend this year because it
is a another 3-day holiday - and they don't happen every year!

The Thought being that some of the "more distant" Pet Talkers
might come if they didn't have to work the day after the event.

There are a LOT of PTers who live in Ohio that have never attended
a "Findlay Gathurin" - July 3rd is a great time to Start Commin!

We are planning on coming, but we won't be able to stay late. We are supposed to be at Ralph's mom's for dinner, so we may be leaving Findlay by 3 or 4....

Seeing as we'll be coming from relatives house and not from home, Andy and I won't have a dish to pass. However, is there anything anyone can think of that we could grab from a store on the way over?

I could grab a can of beans and toss them in a bowl. :)

Just a short note to say that me & the pups will not be coming
for the July 4th pitch in.:( We'll be hanging out at home in the
A/C. This oppressive heat (mid 90's) , humidity, & poor air quality
has me huffin & puffin. The dogs don't seem to care much for the heat either, mostly just lay around inside the house.

Phred, if you need me to send some $ to offset reserving the
site, just send me a pm. Be glad to help out. Pray for some
cooler weather.:)

Your plans sound so much fun - all the good food - place for the pups to run and play.

I always feel terrible that I have to tell people no pets at my BBQ - but even having my neighbor's beautiful goldens sends Rascal, Annie and Emma into fits.

Have a great time you guys. One of these days it would really be fun or is that phun? to be there and meet you all.

Andy, Kia, and I won't be able to stay late either. Andy and I are meeting up with Jason in Toledo, Sunday evening.

My hubby and I are going to be driving with his parents, so no room for Sierra.

But I think the most important thing is that Buddy would feel more at ease with Sierra at home with him. Rather than leaving him home alone terrified of fireworks, even on tranquillizers he still paces, and is very very afraid.
He finds great comfort in his sissy Sierra.

I tell ya... one of these days, I'm going to make it there and surprise all of you (as long as someone recognizes me:o )
