I would like to organize another snail-mail swap, but have many ideas in mind for a swap.
So, if you have intentions on participating - vote for which swap you'd like to do most.
I just want to mention, even if we do have a Scrapbook swap - more than likely we'll have the 2nd Gift Swap later in the year.

I voted 2nd gift swap of 2005, because this is the first one I'll be able to participate in, and that's the one I was hoping for it to be ;)
I voted for the 2nd swap because I don't really have any interest in scrapbooking at this time.
I voted 2nd gift swap of the year. I think scrapbooking is cool and looks like fun but I just don't have the time for it right now....

I can't wait to do another Gift Swap. Do you have any idea when it will be?

Any minimum PT requirements? I'm still a newbie (since last Oct. I think) - I remember seeing in previous posts that people had to be on PT for a certain length of time in order to participate?

It seems the main interest is in a gift swap, and we would surely participiate...but I really think we should do a scrapbook page swap too.
Maybe something couuld be added to the gift swap form for those who would like to include a scrapbook page as part of the package?

I've been wanting to participate in it for a couple yers now, but I ran through a few hard times, at first I had bad experiences with other gift swaps, then I was moving, then I was broke. etc.. etc..
So this would be my first gift swap & I've been a member here for about 4-5 years. lol
I like scrapbooking but just don't have the time for it yet. I've got tons of scrapbooking supplies, never used or opened. lol Someday.
I voted for regular gift swap, as have not the time nor inclination to scrapbook at the moment. But maybe there could be an "are you a scrapbooker" question, and so people could add in scrappy stuff or not depending on who they get? Or would that complicate things too much?
That is a very good idea... Just small things for scrapbooking, as a gift to the human along with the furkids' gifts... :)Quote:

Can someone please explain me what a "scrapbook" is? I've heard that it is a new rage , but I have NO idea what it is :confused:
It's where you have a book, and you make pages to remember places you've gone, and things you've done. :) You put pictures on the page and decorate it with different little knick-knacks you buy at the scrapbook store. You can also get pre-decorated/colored paper.Quote:

I voted gift swap too. But I also and still a newbie since April. Will it only be for members who have been here over a year?

I would love to articipate! I will be in Europe and Russia from around the 22nd August to 10th September, so I should be able to pick up some nice gifts, but I won't be able to mail the package out till I get back. Hope this fits in OK with the dates you have planned!
