Do you have a painting of your pet?

Hi All,

I am an artist specialising in petportraits and so I thought it would be interesting to find out how many people have paintings of their pets.

So here's a poll (if it has worked)!

No, I want to wait and save up money till I find someone who everything of there's I LOVE before I do that. So many times they can come out a little off, not capturing their spirit, that is why I like photography so much.

You might find this interesting .... and you might not.

I ran this poll on a few forums and teh results were as follows:

People who have a portrait of their pet:

DOG 34%
HORSE 21%
CAT 16%

Does this suprise anyone? I certainly get more commissions for dogs than anything else.

I haven't as yet, but I'm trying to get my Mum interested in doing a few. She mainly does landscapes, which are very good, but she thinks her portraits aren't quite as good. Though I beg to differ.:)
