Silly silly boy!

The other morning Cracker Jack was just going goofy with one of the feather on a string toys I got from Meg (Catlover4ever) awhile back. This is Peanut's favorite toy and recently Jack has really been getting into it. I've got video of him attacking it through the crack in the door and then he decided to crawl under the dresser. I've only seen him do this once or twice before and by the time I got my camera he had come out. This time I got him going under and coming out - not to mention all the goofiness while he was under there. I tried to get pics for those who can't view videos, but it was hard since I was twitching the feather and trying to get pics at the same time. So without further ado, here's my silly silly boy. :D

First video is Jack behind the door. Gotta love that little paw flying out! More videos in following posts.

Then he comes out from behind the door, but keeps attacking.

And here you see him going under the dresser, then the paw darting out to get the feather.

And finally Peanut makes an appearance to see what all the commotion is. Check out her reaction when she realizes it's CJ. :rolleyes: :D

Oh, and make sure not to miss the butt wiggle at the end! He is just so adorable when he does this! :D

Too cute!!! That last vid was my favorite! With Peanut snubbing CJ and then CJ comes out and wiggles his little butt! How precious! LOL

Such a rotten little boy! (but so cute!) And that Peanut is just a Princess!!!

How adorable CJ is!!! Isn't it amazing how kitties just love squeezing into tight places ... just like they were made of puddy or something! LOL!

Those are great videos. I especially love the last one where CJ wiggles his butt. :D Amazing they can squeeze under such tight places. :eek: Fister does it too. I have a wonderful video of it, but I don't think I can show it here, as it's on HI8.

Thanks everybody. He cracks me up everytime he wiggles his butt like that. I know kittens do that, but I didn't think 7 year olds did it much anymore. He was going after Peanut and had she been standing there I'm sure I would have gotten him pouncing on her, but she was smart enough to know what was coming so she was otta there! ;) :D

And Peanut has actually started going behind the door a couple of times now. I haven't been able to get her to paw at the feather through the crack, but at least it's a start. I wish some day CJ would come up when she was back there and they would actually start playing together through the crack. I know....wishful thinking....:rolleyes: :D

And yes, Gini, it does warm my heart to know he feels safe and comfortable enough to just let go and go goofy. :D

Silly boy! Loves his new home and is loved in it!

Eddie and Edwina will occasionally play "behind the door" so give it time! It will happen!

What a HAM...silly CJ. :) :) I'm so glad he enjoys the toys.

Debbie you are like me....wishful thinking that one day they may actually play together :rolleyes: Oh well...we just have to entertained with them playing by themselves.

You're right - that but-wiggle just cracked me up!

I am new to being a 'cat person', as we were adopted by a neighborhood stray, and am finding out, as apparently you are - that as 'wild' outdoor cats become secure in their new surroundings, they lose that 'wariness' and 'seriousness' and learn to play, have fun and be silly.

they do provide us with hours of entertainment - who needs TV when you have the 'live' entertainment of pets?

Thanks again, everybody. We had our association board meeting at our house and of course CJ had to come in and check everybody out. Then he was just so durned excited about all the company that he had to go take a nap! :rolleyes: :D

Just precious!!!! :) CJ reminds me a bit of Butter with his playfullness. I think they are probably close to the same age. What fun boys we have, Debbie!!! :) And our old, aloof ladies are so much alike, too! Ha Ha!!! :p

LOL, how cute. I loved the paw in the crack of the door at first and then him rolling around but I think the wiggle butt is the funniest. I love when they do that.

He carries that thing all over the house!! Sometimes I wake up in the morning and it is on the bed.

He loves to play tug-o-war with it too!
