Which fur colour are you most attracted to?

Just wondering...

I like bi and tri coloured dogs, as well as merle. I do like some solids too, depending on the breed (Flat-Coats, Labs, etc.). I prefer browns, reds, tans, etc. over any other colour but the pigment must blend in with the coat. I don't care for the appearance of a red dog with a black nose, a chocolate dog with a black nose, etc. If the dog is red I like a fleshy coloured nose (like the Toller, for example). I also like black dogs, depending on the breed. I also like solids with tan markings, especially a deep chocolate brown, blue, or fawn.

Merle. For me, the flashyer the better (white/other pattern) That is what orriginally drew me to the catahoula! and that is why I am obsessed with weird colored dogs and color genetics!

i love MAXIMUS' gold coloring......but really don't have a preference...:p

I like white, brindle, and also hunters' colours on hounds. I guess it depends on the breed.

I'm such a sucker for merle dogs, especially blue merles. :)

I picked solid because I love chocolate puppies! :p Mandy is actually the first solid color dog we ever had. I do like black and white dogs and black and tan too! Merles are nice too. I think I must like all dogs! :D

I like 2 colours best, be it black and white, red and white, gold and white, blue and white.. lol just one solid colour with white. I do lile blue merles but only if the merling is pale and the black spots are large and spaced far apart

I like Black and White dogs, Red dogs *Cough* Clover *Cough* and Brindle dogs :D.

I love unique markings of pretty much any kind. Merles, of course, being my favorite, but I also like brindling (whippets, greyhounds, etc), ticking (setters, cattle dogs, etc) and spots (dalmatians, etc).

I'm not as drawn to just solid colors normally. But Murph is more or less a very light solid cream color and I think he's adorable. So it's definitely more of an ascetic thing. A loving, friendly dog would override any color preference I had.

Patchwork! :D I'm getting a red leopard (red merle) catahoula, but patchwork is definatly my favourite, especially red patchwork.

After that, red merle is my favourite -- in catahoulas it's called red leopard (I like it best with tan trim and only a small amount of white trim -- no blaze). And I ESPECIALLY love isabella red leopards. :D

For me, it would have to be black dogs. Either solid black or black and white or black and tan. And of course tri-color with black, white and tan would be wonderful also! Black is the key denominator obviously! ;):D

I like merle! I really like the flashy colors.

For some reason, I love pure white dogs, I just think they are so beautiful, no matter what breed as long as they are white :D

Same here. I've always loved pure white dogs, but I still love all other colors. Hard to pick a favorite.

I love all colours, really. But if I haaaaaad to pick then it would probably be solid red. I also really like red with white and merles and (newly discovered to myself! ;) ) patchworks. I love Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dogs.

I love tri-color or even bi-color....I have a tri-color beagle and either a tri or bi colored Aussie

I love anything unique! A unique patch, and merles, especially red merles are on the top of my list! I don't know, I am a sucker for unique animals, I mean, look at Jemi', her body is so oddly proportioned, then Jesse has three legs. I like unique names as well, look at Xambi!!

Anyways, offtrack here. I like Catahoula's, red merle Aussies, blue brindle dogs, etc.
