:rolleyes: Yep, seems like Miss April (who followed me home from the rescue I help out) might be here for an indefinite period of time .... :rolleyes: She is HUGE .... the biggest of all my kitties here, and supposedly only about a year old!!!:eek: Would you say she is a Maine Coon?;)

For me she looks for of a Norwegian Forest. But that's just me. Boy she is beautiful.

You may be right with the Maine Coon she does look the part but the reason I said before she looks more like a Norwegian Forest is the shape of her eyes and ears. Maine Coons have pointed ears whereas the Norwegian Forest have rounded tips and her eyes seem to be the almond shape of a Norwegian Forests as well. I could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time. LOL :D My suggestion if you really want to know is ask your vet.

She is absolutely gorgeous and most definitely looks Maine Coon.
I assume that she has the sweet Maine Coon personality that made you fall in love with her. If she fallowed me home I would have kept her to.

I definitely see some Maine Coon in her with that fluffy tail, the big bright eyes and the ear tufties. Is she water loving? Does she talk a lot? Both also Maine Coon traits. Whatever she is, she's beautiful!

She loves to follow you wherever you go, and she is trying to open all of my cabinets and doors .... yep, I'd say Maine Coon!:rolleyes: :D She is a big LOVE too! My Redfurd is so smitten by her .... he wants her to be his friend sooooooo bad! She's still playing "hard to get", but I think it's just a matter of days before those two are big buddies!;)
They were lying on my bed "together" and while April was distracted by Amanda petting her, Redfurd kept trying to touch her ... it was so cute! Here are a couple of pics! (and I originally thought HE was a big youngster!):eek:

At first when I saw her puffy tail, I thought "Yep, she's Maine Coon." But then the last picture, with that huge ruff...well....then I said Norwegian Forest Cat. Both breeds are "big" breeds so it's a little hard to tell. Maine Coons have puffier tales than NFCs, and NFCs tend to loose their ruffs in summer, so we'll have to watch her and see how she "develops" over time.....since it sounds like we'll have lots of time to watch her. ;) :D
