Yesterday Misha said her first word- something that she assigned a name to and will consistently call it that. Do you want to know what it is? What is your guess?
I'll let everyone guess for a bit and then I'll tell our secret! Mom you better not spill the litter!
I'm guessing it is something along the lines of 'kitty'!!! :D :confused: Couldn't be as ordinary as 'mama' or 'dada' right? :confused: :D ;)
Since my first word was the dog's name, I'm gonna guess one of the furry children's names was her first word!
I'm going to guess a generic "kitty" type sound.

I am guessing Mow Mow, that is what my grandson Dakota says. When we go to Grammy's, he starts saying that when I turn onthe road to her house.

"a kee" meaning
KITTY!!! She would look at a cat and say "a kee" and be very excited. The pictures Deb posted with the toy cat would really get her excited. She would look at it and say "a kee" until we would get it for her!
She has also started crawling! Nothing is safe anymore! Fortunately she is still a bit slow at it but it is just a matter of time before she will be racing thorugh the house!

How totally sweet! Akee makes perfect sense to me. I thought a form of 'meow' might be it..but, akee is just perfect.

Misha is about 8 1/2 months old now! She just started crawling this week also!
Amy Beth and I were just talking about how old Misha is and that she was crawling. Jenna is almost sitting up alone, still falls when she moves too much though! Also, today I discovered her first tooth has just broken through the skin, and the one beside it can barely be seen as white under the gum! Something new and exciting happening all the time!;)Quote:

Teeth! How exciting- Misha still hsn't cut any of them! Life is so much easier once they can sit up on their own! A lot of times I would put bobby around Misha while she was learning to sit- it would support her and break her little tumbles!Quote:
