K&L in DAYTON! *20 pictures* in several posts

Yippie!!! Kevin, Lisa and the girls arrived to a sunny and beautiful Ohio - late afternoon. As everyone says - I took an instant love to this family and was thrilled to have them over - it felt like we were friends already.
Here, Lisa and I posed for a picture - me looking like a dork but I told Lisa I was trying to stand in such a way as to look the least plump as possible.

I am sorry I do not remember names but this granddaughter was so patient! She made a friend out of Emily by rubbing her belly - and Emily was NOT being friendly to anyone as she was still mad at me for the nail clipping earlier!

Eliot, who is rarely seen by anyone but us - crept down the hall and SOOO wanted to come out!!

So, the same little sweetheart who had captivated Emily, decided to make a friend out of Eliot too! She patiently and quietly waited at the end of the hall...

The picture was too dark!!!...but after a time...Eliot DID come to greet her!!! Nobody saw this but Dennis and she is the only one able to lure Eliot into confidence. But, hopefully they did not feel badly because nobody outside of the family believes that he exists!!

The girls were SOOO sweet with the kitties and the kitties loved them back...here with our girl-kitties...

I LOVED the visit and found Lisa, Kevin and the girls to be delightful! Meeting PT folks is always a treat and this was no exception. I feel happy and blessed that they made time in their busy trip to stop by. I hope all of you enjoyed sharing in our visit as well. :D

Well, its about time!

Great pictures!!! You got so many more than I did. I just couldn't shut up long enough to take pictures. Kevin and Lisa are so easy to chat with and they do feel like old friends. I should have thought to give hubby the camera but I didn't.

The girls are very very good with kitties, but what do you expect from their grandchildren?;) They are so cute too!

So Eliot made an appearance? WOW!!! Some of mine didn't but the girls were so good that Pete actually came into the room with them! You know they are cat people when certain things like that happen.:eek:

I'm so glad you got to visit and had as much fun with them as we did. I knew you would!:D

Were they heading to the airport after leaving Johanna's or were they coming back to Lexington? I can't remember the details because they had so much planned!

Oh yeah, did you all talk about Jen and Kim???? I'm sure you had to talk about Jen!!!;) :D :D :D

HOW FUN AND EXCITING! These were great pics, Deb ...so glad you got one of you and Lisa together. Stupid me didn't do that when you and Lori and all came here. DUH!:rolleyes:

What a great way to travel...from one PT house to another!

I think it is just so wonderful and the best idea of how to plan a vacation! I would just be so excited to see all those PT kitties that I probably wouldn't want to ever leave any of those houses.. I LOVED all the pictures Deb and I know all of you will cherish all the pictures you have of their visits.

It sure looks like everyone had a great time. Thanks for sharing these pictures with us.:D

Sounds like such a great visit! I love the fact that Elliot made an appearance to one little girl. And that last photo with the suns rays is the most excellent!!

Looks as if a great time was had by all! I'm glad the cats put on such a good show for the girls. I didn't realise that Eliot was that shy. Poor boy! He was very brave to come out at all. :D

What fun!!!! :) Lisa is certainly getting her Pet Talk fix on her vacation!!! What could be better? :D

We really enjoyed the visit. WE might have to gas up ole' Bessie-Mae and try a trip of our own soon..I am amazed all five cats decided to come out and see what all the fuss was about. The girls were little angels and SO Sweet with the cats. Debbie whittled the pictures down from 60ish to a reasonable number. Now we are both rooted in front of our computers reviewing "cat-trip" posts. I won't hear the end of it until we head out to see SOMEBODY..I guess we will see..to be continued...
