Isn't that funny? Right in the middle of his lower lip. I wonder what causes them to get freckles? I notice a lot of orangies seem to get them, especially in their mouths.

Any other furbabies have cute freckles??

I think it is something typical for orangies! In fact it is also common in humans!! Red-haired people always get tons of freckles, that is wellknown!

Kelly I have wondered that forever! Peanut Butter and Stubby get new freckles all the time. Mostly on there lips and sometimes on thier eyelids. The weird thing is that they seem to come and go.:eek: Is that bizarre?

You cant tell,from this photo,but Michael,has all kinds ,of freckles,on his gums! I was worried,until the Vet,said that it was nothing.Great Orange Cats!

:) My Mishi has the cutest freckle smack-dab in the center of his lower lip. I LOVE to kiss it although I haven't been able to get a picture .... I will try though!

Sonny has one right now on his lip. They come and go on his nose. Anybody know the Three Lives of Thomasina movie? Orange cat who I think was said to have two little black specks by her nose. Must be a well-known orangie thing. Heres a Sonny pic...

Ha ha! How cute! Noah, you're freckle is just too adorable. Sergie has freckles all over his nose and in his mouth too! I wonder why that is?

I can't see Noah's pictures right now:( but I'm sure he's gorgeous.:) My Sunny also has freckles and he seems to get more as he gets older.

What an adorable freckle!!!!:D

Scout has them too, a few on her lips and one in the area between her nose and mouth. I thought it was dirt and asked the vet and he said it was a freckle and that orange cats have similar pigmentation to fair hair red headed people and will freckle easily.
