Prayers for my uncle...

Hi everyone.

I just wanted to ask you all to pray for my uncle in England. He's my dad's older brother, and is going in for his 2nd open heart surgery tomorrow. The doctors will operate on him this Wednesday, but they admit patients a day earlier.

Of course I am worried about him, and praying hard that everything will be alright, and that his surgery will be successful. He had his first open heart surgery in 1993, so he's been fine for 12 years after that. This is his 2nd time going in for this. Please pray that all goes well. I will update you all when we get news. Thanks!

Thanks everyone. I have a little update, and probably not what you were expecting (I wasn't either), but here's what happened.

My cousin just emailed me and said her father's surgeon suffered from a severe back injury this morning, so his surgery has been put on hold. They don't know when it will happen now.

I guess I need more prayers for him now. It seems they're not as quick in doing these surgeries in England as they are here. They sometimes wait months before scheduling a date. He does need the surgery soon though, so let's all pray they're able to schedule a date fast enough, with a wonderful and capable surgeon.

You can count on my prayers, Poppy!! I hope they can operate asap, this is a serious condition!!

Just thought I'd update you all on my uncle's surgery. I was in Vancouver last week, so I was unable to post an update earlier.

My uncle had his surgery on Monday, and thank God, everything went well. He's recovering slowly, and is beginning to walk and talk. My cousin said he's doing well. Thanks for thinking about him. He's on the road to recovery now, and we're still praying that he recovers completely soon.

My dad just called my aunt (uncle's wife), and she said he's doing GREAT and returning home on Monday. :D
