A happy, bright, and colorful thread...

...to pull everyone into a happy, bright, and colorful mood again. :D

Today was gorgeous...absolutely GORGEOUS, and the perfect day to take pictures outside. I took my camera out in the yard and snapped some pictures this afternoon, which I think turned out lovely. The beautiful weather, sunshine, blossoms, birds...everything about the day made me so happy. It was the most beautiful day. Just thought I'd share some of the bright pictures I took to make everyone on PT happy and bright again too!

A pretty flower...I would love to know what plant this is if anyone knows.

Our nectarine tree is in full bloom, and its blossoms are so beautiful, bright, and pink. I can't wait till they turn into nectarines! For now, I'm really enjoying the pretty pink flowers.

Some pics of the tiels...

Popcorn and Muffin were watching me from inside, and their reflection on the window looked so 'interesting' that I had to take pictures of it. LOL!

I hadn't realized what lovely blossoms the nectarines have.

I think the purple daisies are Shasta Daisies, can anyone else confirm?

I loved the pics PCB! I really like the first flower one and the ones of Popcorn and Muffin. They are so beautiful! It looks like they are really posing for pictures too! :) I saw Lucky (my brother's tiel) the other day, I wish I brought my camera as I knew you would like to see him. His head is entirely white now and his body is almost all solid gray, really pretty.

Spring I would love more snow of a ton of rain.we are so dry and it hit 60 degrees today. I worry about fires this year.

Great pics. It was a beautiful day here yesterday too, got into the low70s. Today, it's snaining.

They're not pansies...definitely something else. Its more a very green leafy plant. Very pretty. The flowers just started blooming a few days ago...I had no idea it was a flowering plant until now. The whole plant looks like this.

I'm glad you all liked the pictures. :) To all of you who are jealous...we got enough pouring rain this year, so we really deserve this nice weather now...FINALLY! :D

Audrey, the bee's not big. I just zoomed into the poor guy...to make him look fat. ;) He he he!!! Those pink flowers are very tiny, as is the bee. Its just a closeup picture.

Beautiful pics! I have never seen that first flower before. Very pretty. I know it's not a Pansy but I don't know what it is. Here is a Pansy. They are one of my favorite flowers.

BEAUTIFUL!!!! Wow! Sara...can we trade cities? ;) LOL!!! See...California isn't that bad, is it? ;) The weather we're having now is REAL California weather...just how its supposed to be. :p I guess the rain wasn't all that bad then. It made the landscape so lush, green, and healthy. I love it! Hope your lake in the backyard has dried out now...he he he.

God bless you, PCB, for kicking me in the butt and making me see the beauty in the world. There has been so much sadness around lately (both in my personal life and cyber life) that I needed a reminder that not all is bad.

Thanks everyone for the beautiful pictures. I wish it was sunny here and I wish I had a digicam because when the time is right, I can see the most awesome sunrises.
