My goodness! I enjoyed Tommy's pictures, earlier, and now here's Dawn!!!! :) She's so pretty, Jessica. I know you are proud of her. Does she say much? Milly is so quiet, except for an occasional chirp. Of course, Roger is noisy enough for both of them! :o
Jessica, this may sound silly, but you have a beautiful hand! I have the WORST hands, ever, thanks to Butter and many other cats before him.

Dawn always looks so beautiful and healthy. :D I swear, no matter what I do Milton's feathers always look bad. I think it's because the bird he was housed with at the shelter picked on him and he never dropped the old tail feathers. Anyway!:p Dawn looks great in all the pictures. Thanks for sharing. I love seeing pics of Dawn :)

Another thank you for all the wonderful compliments! Dawn feels very flattered ;) :). I tried to get the lighting so that it shows her colors accurately, since the flash really makes them look washed out.
Logan, actually Dawn is mute, and can only make a whispered noise. She still does cheep in her own way but you cannot hear it unless you are close to her and it sounds like a whisper with no tone. She has been that way since I got her. She does her whisper cheeps off and on, usually first thing in the morning when she sees me, or when she wants something like to come out of her cage or to have what I'm eating :p. She will also do it when being talked to or whistled at. But otherwise she is pretty laid back/quiet.
It's funny you mention my hands, I remember a couple people telling me when I was a child that I had a "piano player's" hands. I'm not sure EXACTLY what that means but it seemed like a compliment and I do love music :D. I never got to learn the piano, but who knows, maybe someday!

A whispering tiel might be a good tiel, Jessica. I had no idea that Dawn was "mute", but that is not a bad thing. Her beauty overrides any other issues that she has, for sure. She is precious. Our Milly makes the screetching sounds, but she definitely does not talk. I posted a couple more videos of Roger "wooing" her today under Popcornbird's thread with her videos of Popcorn and Muffin. Roger is definitely the vocal one in our family
Perhaps you should attempt the piano with those beautiful fingers!!! On one of my gardening boards, a lady who is retired is learning to play the piano!!! :)
