New drawing.

Just a cartoony one. Haven't done one in ages. Kinda sucks but I thought I'd share anyway.

I've always wanted to do a rainy pic lol..so, my first attempt..

I had to save it and lighten it too see it. Is it just ''my'' screen?

Might just be your screen as it shows up fine on mine. I know things show up almost too bright on my husband's computer so I guess it all depends on the machine and/or the settings. I think it looks good! I love how you did the shadow :)

I love it! You are so talented. I've got a project for you. I've got to find the pic I need first.

Here is what I see. The dark is original. So on your screen is the light compltely washed out?

Hmm, my screen IS a little lighter then some, I believe. My dad;s is a lot darker. I tried to fix that, but I guess not?

Anyway, the one you posted as edited, is pretty light for me. It's ment to be sorta dark..but visable. There is whiteish 'cloudy, fog, stuff' in the bg with a dark blue color.

I use Open Canvas to sketch it, and Adobe Photoshop to ink and color :)

Are there any tutorials to teach someone how to ink and color? I've been wanting to color a few things in Photoshop, but I don't know how. :/

There are a lot of tutorials around. I have some somewhere.

(I'm to lazy to make one...although I've been meaning to)

It's perfect!! The rain drops bouncing off... the mist effect and the blurred shadow. It's looks great Audrey!

I don't see it as light as the one you brightened, I guess I just thought it was supposed to be a dark, stormy picture. I can see the darker one clearly, I thought you were meaning that it was so dark you couldn't make it out until you brightened it. :) I like both the bright and the dark.. one looks like a day version and the other looks like a stormy night version.

Since my screen is so dark, when I posted what I saw it's still the same for you guys. I could tell it was an animal but it was too dark to tell anything else. After I lightend it I could see it. My screen is so darn dark sometimes. When I print out a photo it's completely different than my screen showed. I used the Adobe Gamma to calibrate the screen but it didn't help enough. And around the edges is all out of focus. So guess it's time for a new one of those thin flat ones !!

I really like the picture too! Its great. Give me some drawing talent lol. As good as you are, you won't be missing them. :D

Audrey, I looked at it on Tom's computer and it's perfect !!! Very cute. Even your web site looks better on his. OK, time to save money for a new screen. I had no idea mine was sooooooooooo dark.
