Tasha got booties!

I know I just posted pictures yesterday but I had to share a few of Tasha in her new boots. I went to the pet store today for a few things and picked up some boots for her because she is always stopping and lifting her feet on our walks from the cold, and I want to protect her pads from the ice and salt on the roads. Tommy's feet are tougher and more furry so he doesn't seem to have much problem.

When I first put them on her she walked like one of those dressage horses lifting her feet way up in the air LOL. Poor girl. She is so accepting of whatever I ask of her. :)

I bought Daisy a pair of booties for our trip to the snow and she wouldn't even move in them. :p

Tasha, what a good girl you are for putting up with mommy. :D

She's so cute in her boots! I thought about geting Chester some, but I'm not sure how that would go over. Actually, I'm pretty sure how it would go, and that's why he doesn't have any! :p

Tasha looks adorable in her booties! My Lacey has a problem with her feet freezing up but I'm sure she'd freak out with booties! I can't believe Tasha's even running in them.

Aww, she looks so cute LOL! I tried putting a Halti on Freckles yesterday and she about had a heart attack! :p

Looks just like my Sasha when I put her boots on. But she sure got used to them quickly. Did you have to wrestle with her to put them on?

Not at all actually, she stood there with a hangdog expression looking pitiful while I put them on and then walked funny. She tugged at the front ones a little bit with her teeth but otherwise left them alone. That's another reason I didn't bother with Tommy though, I know he'd never rest until they were off :p.

Major does that too. I think I'm going to get him some boots...but I know he won't like that. However, if we're on a walk, he won't have much say :p

Cass, when I first put the halti on Major, he always moved his head back and forth so I couldn't even try to get it on him. I think I wasted a couple weeks by just putting it on him and giving him a rawhide to chew. I'd just let her get used to it for a week maybe, and then just go out and walk her. It worked for Major, and now He just stays still (well, he turns his head to the side) when I try to put it on. He's very good about it.

Oh that Tasha is just too cute in her booties. :)
