Romping on ice! *pics*

It warmed up to 18F today so I took the pups out for a much needed romp! We had a sleet storm last weekend, so it's not really snow on the ground it is 2-3 inches of packed sleet that you can walk on top of without sinking. It is really pretty in the sun. A few weeks before that we had extremely high winds one day and part of the neighbor's wooden privacy fence blew down. Since the ground will stay frozen there won't be any fixing that until thaw in the spring.

Anyway, I got a few nice pics of the pups running and playing. Hope you enjoy!

Thank you all! It has been a few days since they really got to run, and with the sun out I thought it was a good photo opportunity :). I also thought it looked kinda neat with the solid layer of sleet/ice on the ground.

Shelteez, I have to indulge myself with a bit of pride over that photo, I just love it. She was going potty so I went into a sunny patch, knelt down with the zoom all the way in, and called her as soon as she was done. She came tearing over to me the way I knew she would and I was lucky enough to catch her in full flight when I snapped it!

Tommy's log was pretty heavy, every once in awhile it would just fall out of his mouth while was trotting around but he was determined to keep at it LOL :D.

I love these pictures of Tommy and Tasha, it looks like they were having a great time outside! I love that one of Tasha that Shelteez reposted, great shot. And the one of Tommy with that huge log is his mouth is just precious. Holly sends lots of slurpy kisses and tail wags!:)

*squeels* They are just so freakin cute. Tasha especially. I love that picture of her in mid-air. Tommy and his logs are too funny.

Wow, these are awesome pictures, Jess! I love that one you captured of Tasha running to you. I just love her floppy ears!

And Tommy.. you know how much I love that sweet boy of yours. :D Him and those logs.. LOL. I could never get tired of seeing pictures of him, along with the rest of your crew.

All of the pictures turned out great, but I think this one is my favorite. I love how the sun brightens up his coat and gives it that 'shine', along with his sweet expression and his shadow. Really elegant looking. :)

Good to see another Minnesotan! I'm in the St. Cloud area, and I agree the temps and wind chills have been very cold! I got the action shots without wearing gloves because it is hard to take pics with heavy gloves on, but my fingers got too numb after a few minutes so I had to fumble at it with gloves on after that. At least it was not windy today and warmed up enough so that it didn't hurt to breathe out there :p Down south they are too warm and up north we are too cold, I think we all need to meet in the middle somewhere!

Cass, my camera is a Sony Cybershot, about 3 years old :)

I always love seeing them! Tasha sure loves to run and I can't believe the size of that log that Tommy got. I often wish I had a fenced in yard when Duke was younger so I could get special pics like that.
