The shelter opens at 10am, EST. My friend is sending her boyfriend to the shelter when they open. Today is going to be the first day he's up for adoption. Oh My... he is Soooo handsome!!! Lets all cross our fingers and paws and hope she gets him!!!!

I would love to take Sierra because she LOVES puppies... but I want to wait till he is seen by her vet to make sure he doesn't have anything that could be passed on to my baby girl!!

:D that is so awesome!! Congrats to your friend and her family on their new year's baby! He is adooorable, my gosh. He looks really well bred... what kind of crazy person would give that puppy up? It looks like he is in a wonderful home now. we would looove to see more pics, especially with Sierra and the baby ;). what have they named him?
He does look VERY well breed!! Can you belive he was found as a STRAY!?!?! OMG!!! They are going to change his name, but are not to sure as to what yet. Maybe we'll come up with a good name for him tonight while I'm there playing.
Oh I'm sooo glad they got him! :D That means we get to watch him grow up with 'Auntie' Angie taking pictures of him! ;) He is so adorable! :)

I am stopping at the pet store to get puppy food and toys and treats for him!! YIPPEE!! I can't wait!!!!!

They have two "maybes" right now:
Guiness (like the beer)
Jager (sounds like Yeah-ger)
Any other ideas???
omg, both of those names are really cute! He definately looks like a Guiness or a Jager... I prefer Jager though, so cute :D :D! good luck to them, I hope he's a good little puppy! ;)

Well since he is a German Shepard, maybe use a German beer for the name...is Jager, German? What about Yuengling...not sure if it is German, though. I also like Guinness, i have a cat named Guinness...Quote:

What a gorgeous dog! :eek: LOVE his coat. :) How exciting!!! She must be so totally pumped to have gotten him. He is ADORABLE!! I don't know about names because I'm not good at naming things unless I've seen them in person. :o That last picture is priceless. So excited for her, and you! ;)

Jaeger means hunter in German so it would be a great name for a GSD! he is a wonderful dog and I hope he will be very loved by his new family!
Let's let HIM know what his name is! He is so beautiful.. he's going to be so much fun to watch grow.. I now have another special pupster to love :D I'm so happy about this :)
