Kiara is going to be in a Talent Com-Paw-tition!

On January 21st they're going to have a Doggie Talent show!
We called the lady in charge a week or so ago, and today we recieved a call back.

I'm not sure of all of the details, as in prizes and such, but she's going to "try out" on the 21st. If she's "good enough" she'll be coming back on the 28th, and then on the 5th. I *think* the winner will reciev a week stay in any dog friendly hotel here in FL. If she wins all three, she gets three weeks. :P



The only thing i'm worried about is her being scared of everyone. We definetly have a lot of work to do! I'm going to work out a "routine" for her to perform. :D

maybe go to a dog park or somewhere with lots of people and try to get her to preform there so she gets used to the idea of doing tricks with strangers around. This is so wonderful I'm sure Kiara will do great!

I want to know how it went! It was on the 21st and it's now the 24th *taps toe* we're all patiently waiting;)

Last Friday, Kiara was sooooo scared. We sat through the whole thing and decided that we were going to wait until tomorrow, the second round to enter her. We've brought her to the park where it's held a few times this week, and today again. She did very well today. We even had a small audience of people who stopped to watch us work. ;)


I guess we're going to try for tomorrow.

There were just so many people there last Friday, mixed with the music they had playing, she was terrified. It's also right in the middle of downtown, where traffic is quite buisy.


PLEEASSE wish us lots of luck for tomorrow... and hope that Kiara won't be too scared!! (and for the sake of the both of us, hope that i'm not too nervous!)


Even if she doesn't win, last Friday was a lot of fun, just being around other "dog people" :)

Tomorrow I hope to get there a bit earlier so that she has time to relax and get used to everyone. Before we came about a half hour early, and she just got settled down after the registry was closed for the night.

Good luck both Mama and Kiki {{Hugs}}. That is a good idea to get to the park a little earlier and have a wander around.

Welp, it was cancelled tonight!


Stupid Florida weather decided to rain and get windy and cold today.
Was beautiful yesterday. :rolleyes:

We drove down there and I worked with Ki a bit agian on stage.

Not sure if/when it's to be reschedualed, but we called the director and left her a message to call us back.

Aww...thats too bad! I was SO looking forward to an updateon how she did! I'm sure she is going to do amazing though!
