I wasn't sure if the Torties should be included in the calico section so I made another one!
Hope that was OK!

I was so wallowing in missing Tubby that I forgot to post my little tortie here. She's actually what they call tortie on white. I like think of her as a tortie tuxie since she has the white big and white "spats" of a tuxie, she just happens to be a "tweed" tuxie instead of a black tuxie.
So here she is in all her tortitude. This picture seems to really show off her colors well.

since joining PT I am now madly in love with Torties, never even considered one before, If I ever own another cat it is my desire to own a tortie, saw the cutest kitten the other day, broke my heart to walk away, so it is true about them having tortitude, what do you mean exactly? I have loved seeing all your pretty torties, so darn cute each and every one of them.
Carole - Cammie is my first tortie. I had never heard of their "attitude" before until I came here and asked for advice -- lots of snickering when I described her behavior because it turns out she has the typical tortie personality. :D Now, there are a lot of exceptions and Cammie's personality might have been different if we had raised her from a kitten instead of adopting her at 10+ years old, but here's what I mean by "tortitude".Quote:

I'll tell you when I want to be petted!
No, I don't want anything to do with you! Okay, I guess I wouldn't mind being adored right now. No! I changed my mind.
Are you addressing me? I refuse to acknowledge you.
Yawn.... Life here is so boring. I don't know why I have to live here with you people.
That's been my experience anyway. But, Cammie is also very loyal. She is besotted and totally devoted to my husband. She adores him and he can do no wrong. She just would prefer that I didn't live here with them. :D
Bella is my Torti-point Siamese.
But, no tortitude here, just a sweet, clingy, love bug girl.

I can identify at least 6 or more distinct colors on her!
Black (on side of nose), seal black(on cheeks), pure white(on paws), off white (on legs), tan (cream on forehead), orange (on ears), brown (coat on back)

Yippee!!! I love love love my torties!! All beautiful babies!!
I'm at work so I can't post pics of my girls, but I'll try to when I get home.
Bella is gorgeous!! I haven't heard of a tortie point siamese before! And somehow I've missed her until now. WOW!! So pretty!! Wherever did you get her?
Not a recognized color by CFA, the torti-points are a Siamese mix. Parent cat could have been a calico or a tortie, and a Siamese.Quote:

Bella was taken out of Animal Control in Tampa area. Her time was almost up. Deathly sick, already spayed at under 2 lbs. She got into Siamese Rescue and we kept her!
She only wants 2 things in life: paper balls, and to be on my chest, when not busy with paper balls.
She is my soul kitty.
