Hehe, I dont have hair dye and I would like to dye my hair... Besides Lemon Juice (which I've tried), does anyone know of any natural hair dyes, made out of things you can find around the house? :D

Don't know much about that, when I died my hair one time, I just went to the hair stylist at the mall. (I got these AWESOME red tips on my ends!) :D Also, if anyone does give you info on this, make sure to ask your parents first if you can use it. ;)
Yep, They already know that I'm looking :)
Bleach!lol unless you want really blonde hair, lol:p Ive never used natural hair dyes.Ive always bought stuff at the store,or ive gotten it done at the hair place.
hehe, if it helps, right now I have brown hair. :p
I dont know if this really works but my friend dyes her hair with colored kool-aid lmao
Oh! we have Green Cool-Aid! Will that work? :D
nope, doesnt work :D
Heh, green kool aid... :D
hahaahha I will ask my friend how she does it lol I think you have to mix it with either salt or something I just cant rmember lol
If your hair is brown it may be too dark for the kool aid to show up. It really only works on light colored hair.
ooooh okay. :p The lemon juice turned it a little red! :D

Maybe this will help?!~
I've used kool-aid when I was younger. All that home stuff is really bad for your hair though. It'll dry it out.
Me and a friend streaked our hair RED with KoolAid when we were younger. You just have to mix it so it's real thick & leave it on for awhile. IT DOES WORK! Believe me . . . LOL.
If I were you, I'd spend a couple of bucks on a box treatment from the drug store! Don't kill your hair!
Good luck!
I use to use food coloring in mine. It looked pretty awesome
Kool-Aid Hair Dye
heehee found that link while I was looking. It is for dying wool and fiber but it may get you going - just don't put your head in the microwave! Salt & Vinegar seem to be the agents to make it work - plus heating it.
In a book I just read, they were discussing hair dyes and the things they used were henna for red and black walnuts to darken the hair. No idea how it would be done but black walnuts are really strong and even stain your skin so I imagine it would be pretty easy to darken your hair with an extract made from the boiled shells.
Have fun!
Use henna. Not only does it give your hair a nice color, but its also good for your hair...adds body, and gives it a nice shine.
I really don't know so it might help you to do a google search on it.
Nope.
But my friend used gel markers to put "Streaks" into her hair. ;)
Im way too afraid to dye my hair though :o :p
What's henna? :oQuote:

mix the kool aid with tiny bits of water and put in your hair it stings though and smells and is sticky if I were you I wouldn't try the kool aid I have before... It washes right out though, but I wouldn't if you were going to bed lol.... I know ppl that use bingo dabbers  LMAO have fun!!
:p
Henna is a plant that is mostly grown in India. It has a pretty interesting history as I recall. It is mostly used in the Eastern and Arab countries as a natural haircolor and dye but you can buy it here, too. (try a natural or health store) The red type gives your hair a really pretty red highlight. I have read that it is also used for tattoos that are temporary.Quote:

I used it years ago - (like 20 ) and one thing I remember is that once you have it in your hair, you can't use regular haircolor until it has grown out.
