(THIS is why I went to Utah *LOTS of pictures*)
Hey everyone! As most of you know, I'm back from my trip to Utah.
While telling people and all that I was going to Utah, many times questions such as "Why Utah? To see the Mormons?!" were asked. Well.. this is why... to have the best vacation, Thanksgiving, and birthday I could ask for!
I'll start from the beginning incase you missed anything that i've already posted.
Well, I was supposed to leave at 7:51 Friday (19th) morning. We got to the airport ahead of time. As we went to check-in, they said we were too late for my flight. To make a long story short, while they wanted to charge us $600 more to get the next flight out, we got them down to $100. It was their fault because they closed the flight early. They said we could probably go back to the airport (at this time we were in a gas station parking lot, on the cell phone with Delta) and get the change for free.
My dad just wanted it done and over with. It was very early still, so we drove an hour or so away to Valerie's house and hanged out there until it was time for my flight.
I got to meet Doogie, whom I took many pictures of and will possibly post them in Cat General (if Valerie doesn't mind?)
Thankfully, we arrived on time and I was on my way to Utah. The flight was fine, but I started crying the second I had to leave Kiara. I held her leash the whole time I left her. She did fine on both flights, and was so excited to see me when we picked her up.
I cried on my way to the Gate to go back home. A lot from leaving Kiara and having to leave Amy and her parents.
I just had so much fun and felt welcome there, I almost want to cry while typing this.
When we landed back home, some guy walked up to me while I had her on leash in the airport and asked me about her -- her breed and all, and telling me how cute she is. :D
While in Utah we had a lot of fun. It certainly feels weird to be home... and I have school tomorrow! GROSS!!
