Has your dog/cat ever had fleas?

I was just wondering if they ever had fleas? none of my dogs have ever gotten fleas, I hope it stays that way.

Yes, once Chelsea and Sheba (cats) got fleas. We ended up buying expensive products and never used them because they never really had any more fleas.

Only when I used a flea collar, but I have changed to Advantage for some years now, and never have any problems via the kitty or in the house, FLEA FREE and staying that way.:)

only once when Kodie was at the kennel,he got them really bad,so we called the place back.and they said that the owner would call us back but never did:rolleyes:

Yup. They were on Sentinel at the time so they didn't have very many. The advantage killed off the small amount of fleas on the boys.

Well shes never been infested with them or anything, but from running outside and everything I have seen about 2 on her, but she always wears Frontline, so they were killed quickly. :) EWW!! Fleas are NASTY!! Yuck! :eek:

Bailey had a few fleas when we got her from the shelter. Peej has never had them. :)

Nope, we really do not have a flea problem in Utah at all.

oscar, tikeya, and baby have never had flea... it is too cold i think.. lol it seems that way anyways ;)

My RB cat Sara was the only one of my pets to have fleas. It was SO bad. I gave her a flea bath every day, and she had a flea collar as well (this was back when I was like 10 -- I didn't know about things like Advantage). Eventually the fleas got on me, and I had fleas for a couple weeks. You can kill them by squishign them. You have to grind them between your fingers which is gross.

Luckily, Kelowna is not really a flea area. But last year was pretty bad for alot of pet owners because of the amount of people bringing their pets over from Vancouver, Vancouver being one of the flea problem areas of BC.

Mississippi has a bad flea problem. I think its due to the humidity here. We have to get that injection stuff from the vet when flea season comes.

snowy had fleas when we got her, but she is on flea treatment from the vet (frontline - every 2 months) so she never has fleas again.
