compliment yourself.....

I was thinking to myself it might be a good idea to start this thread, so many people are down on themselves, maybe if we all start thinking positive thoughts about ourselves it will rub off on others and ourselves and make our day go better.

So please join in and tell us at least three things about yourself, that you like, whether it be your personality or looks or both.

I am hoping one particular member of PT who is having a rough time right now and feeling not so good about herself right now, will stop by and post.

Let me start.

I try really hard to have compassion for other people.

I like my crowning glory (my hair) except on bad hair days and we all have those lol.

I have a good sense of humour.

Now your turn and NO negative thoughts to creep in please.;)

OK, this is one of the hardest things I'll ever have to do....but I've got to make the effort.

I love my hair, especially the grey.
I'll try to walk a mile in your shoes to understand where you are coming from.
I'm dependable........and I don't mean diapers.....no comments Gini :D
I maintain confidentiality.
Easy going. Flexible.
Loyal.
Compassionate and caring - but then again all Pet Talkers are.
I look younger than my age. :)

Slick it was darn hard for me too, but I thought of two others, I am extremely Loyal and you can depend on me too, and very punctual.:)

I Just thought we are all so good at concerntrating on our negative points (me included,) it was time we just did the positive for a change, so come on everyone, I am patiently and eagerly waiting your replys..:) :D

- I'm a good listener, and I guess I'm good at giving advice and stuff..

- I really like how I've set strong morals for myself

Good idea Carole!

-I do things for me, and no one else. I don't dress a particular way cause it's the new trend, but because it's me. I don't drink or smoke. I've never done drugs. I don't care if it isn't "cool".

-I can almost always make someone laugh, even when they're feeling down

-I love my hair!! :D

-My musical talent. I'm very proud of myself for teaching myself how to play the piano and a bit of the guitar. It was hard work but I'm proud of how far I got.

-I'm not too shabby at webdesign/graphics. I've come a very long way during the past 2 years (when I first got into it).

-I stick by my opinion, while still trying to understand things from both sides.

I hate complimenting myself too, Di. I think it is a really good thing to do to yourself once in a while though.


I am pretty smart about people.
I like my hair. (The style, the length, the color.)
I am really caring to people. When they are sad, I want to do anything I can to make them happy.

Carole, first I feel that I'm compassionate, that I listen well, (put myself in other people's shoes), and that I care about the other person, not myself.

- (I've been told) I'm good with children
(gotta squeeze this in).....I love my pets & feel I take care of them well!!!!! (As best as I know how to anyways)

Hmm..this is really hard for me but I've been told I have to try to think positive so I guess this is a great thread for that lol.
