We are taking Lucy into the Vets today,, she has a VERY ugly looking *thing* on her back knee,,,,, it started off as a white patch and is now hard and ugly black and gray looking,,,, I am hoping its just a big thick thick scab,, and not the dreaded *C* word......It just looks AWFUL!
Keep us in your thoughts today,, I know I am scared to death!!!!

Does Lucy get callouses on her elbows--hard spots with no fur? Just wondering because that picture looks like something that happened to Hobo last year. He got a callous on his elbow and it fell off. The skin underneath got infected. It looks alot like that. It was easy to treat with antibiotics. Hopefully, Lucy's is something just as easy to treat.

No,,, this is a first for Lucy... shes never had a problem with her skin at all,, no bald spots or anything.... I am just hoping that she skinned it while playing with Merlin,,,,, but it was perfectly round, about the size of a dime and white.. no blood at all... now,, seemingly overnight,, it turned into this awful thick hard gray brown bumpy ,, thing......:( thats why I am praying its a scab,, but if it is,, its unlike any scab I have ever seen...
Poor girl:( . Lucy will be in my thoughts today. Please let us know something as soon as you find out tonight. I hope it isn't anything too serious...
