I got the job!!! :)
I'm sooooooooo happy!!
I interviewed for that position (office manager at a Child Psychologist's office) last Thursday, and she called me to offer the job on Monday! Our interenet has been down so I couldn't get online to tell you all.
I go in on Monday to sign some paperwork and do a little bit of training. Yay! :)
I told my employer the day after I got the position and I'm so glad I'm getting the heck out of there. I know she's livid I got a job, one that pays more at that, without her reference. (While I was sick in the hospital last February, I decided to look elsewhere on the advice of my doctors. When I did, she gave me horrible references and told them I had Crohn's!!) She's currently talking about my to my co-workers (and friends)...really nice and really professional. I can't wait to get out of that place! :rolleyes:
Anyway, I'll let you all know how it goes on Monday. I wanted to thank you all so much for the prayers, they worked!

I'm so very happy for you.You're to good and kind of a person to put up with anyone that makes you feel terrible.That person needs to reavaluate herself.Anyone who goes out of their way to talk neg. behind people's backs or gets enjoyment out of pushing people around because they like power..need help.Maybe you could suggest to your old boss to see a physocologist.LOL "just kidding"

Re: my old boss, she does have a lot of psychological issues and she's currently seeing a doctor about them three times a week. She's also on four mood altering drugs to keep her from constantly freaking out. Because of all this, all she does behind people's backs doesn't surprise or anger me much. I'm just glad to be getting to a more positive place for myself.
catmandu....the cats will demand more toys and treats when they find me at work more often then home. ;)

I went and got my job offer and spent about half an hour talking with Dr. Anderson about the company and all that the job entails.
I'm really excited about the job. I start on Monday. :) Yippee!!!
